I need a weight loss buddy!

I'm a 21 year old female who weighs 93 kilos. I would love a female under 25 who is of a similar weight to share my weightloss journey with, but hey the more the merrier and I'm open to anyone!!!

It would be great to have a few "weight loss buddies" so we can motivate each other, share tips etc.

Hi im new to this forum but in desperate need for a weight loss buddy if you are interested...
Im a 27 year old female currently weighing in at 79kg but 2 years ago i was 92kg i managed to get down to 70kg in time for my wedding in July but since then i have been on "holiday" mode and cant get out of it, resulting in 9-10kg weight gain
My goal is to get to 65kg.

Hey guys!

I'd love a buddy too... I'm 23 and about 81kg. I've been on my health kick for just over two weeks and starting to feel good :)

I'm using calorie king to count calories and basically re-train myself on the foods I can eat - certainly learning where all my weight has come from! I'm also doing 45 mins of exercise at least 5 times a week - but heaps of variety so I don't get bored with it all.

I'm 165cm tall and my goal weight is 67kg - so a loss of 14kg.

What are you guys doing to keep track of your diet? Are you exercising?

Hi echo13,

I did weight watchers last time so i have just pulled out all my old info to refresh on portion control and points. I have also used Calorie King before might have to give that a bit of a dust off and use it again.

I am trying to go walking most days but i also do pole dancing once a week.

I am similar height to you, im 169cm

I am pretty motivated, i just did a menu plan and went shopping!!! so that way i dont totally lose it on weekends (the story of my life do so well during the week then blow all my hard work by eating junk on the weekends!!!)

Hi guys,

I've been on this forum for a while and can vouch it is great to have like minded people to chat to. I get so much motivation from it and can say it is the reason I've lost the weight so far. Still got a fair way to go too.

I'm 21 and can definitely relate to you ash.I currently weigh 93.5 and would like to get down to 65kg. I've been kind of slack the last few weeks...haven't put on weight but haven't lost any either. Think I need to start setting some goals, summer feels like it is getting closer and it is the time of year I stress. Hate wearing summer clothes, hopefully this summer can be different :D

Count me in! I am 22, 178cm tall and currently 97.3kg :( I am doing the 12 week challenge but have been VERY slack last week but didn't gain that much thankfully!
I am fairly new to this but its great to have like minded people to help you along...
I have been with my boyfriend for a little over 2 years now and over those 2 years somehow managed to put on 15kg... argh! He says he loves me just the way I am which is very sweet but is not much help loosing the weight.
I have started Jillian MIchael's 30 day shred. the workouts are only 25 minutes but she totally kick my but, i can hardly move but have stuck to it for 3 days now(quite good for me, i get bored VERY easily!) so I am going to get through the 30 days and I give permission from all you lovely ladies to give me a kick up the butt when I get lazy! please...I want a skinny summer!!

How is everyone going? I really struggle on weekends, as there is too much temptation and hubby gives in easy to junk food. Infact he incourages it :roll: but so far so good this weekend!

Hey echo - want to be my buddy?? I want to lose 15kg, im 21 and currently 75kg - kinda similar :P

or the sounds of a young people weight loss thread is cool lolz

what would you guys eat in a day? Im struggling to work out what a reasonable amount is to cut out so that I can eat that consistently without cutting out important stuff or leaving in too much and not losing weight... currently i am just aiming for healthier and less than usual - but would love to hear a breakdown of some people's food day to give me an idea :P

Just wanted to wish you well with your weightloss goals.

Discovering this website is a good step I think. The people on the forums and the website itself provide some good information and support.

Do you keep a food diary or exercise diary?
