Hi,

I throw this weight loss challenge which will be concluded on each Monday. The first one starts on Monday 30th May and ends on Monday 6th June.

A tip for all. Get it into two activities for workout such as Gym and Swimming so that you don't get bored of the routine.

I'm going fast, I started last month at 91Kg and I'm now at 84Kg.

In my short experience, losing 1.5Kg a week is easy with 1200 cal food diet and 1hr of Gym or Swimming.

Interesting you started at the same weight as me and have about the same to lose all up,i try and do 1 hours Gym and don't get there every night but i am finding it easy to lose weight as well, a bit over 1 kilo each week,,1.5 would be very nice,,i guess things will get harder soon tho,,

My sister says its 80% what you eat and 20% excercise,,anyway i am up for that monday-monday challenge,, :idea:

Nice to find someone with similar weight / target. Post you weight on Sunday night or Monday morning and we are good to go for the challenge.

I'm also exploring "Power Yoga" as an option for weight loss. Check it out on the internet.

I'm looking forward to aqua aerobics every Monday night, plus treadmill a couple of times through the week. I am going to dust off the old Wii Fit and play some games with my kids along the way. I'm also on 1200 calorie diet through lite n easy and I've found it the most easiest way. I can't do shakes diets as I always fail - I need to eat food. So far I've lost a few kilos and feeling good for it. Was pleasantly surprised when I weighed myself yesterday at 81kgs (as opposed to 86kgs 3 weeks ago.)

I found it a huge challenge on the weekend - my son's 11th birthday party on Friday, then a work party Saturday, and then a friend's party Sunday - portion control and plenty of water was the best I could do...so I'm planning on smashing out the exercise this week to counteract the weekend.

Good luck to everyone on the challenge!

So,
Day1
I'm 83.5Kg today.
Did 55 laps of swimming yesterday as against 15 laps.
Joining a new Gym tomorrow to do spinning, yoga and aerobics.

Its 3 of us into the challenge. Lets do it.

I go to the gym at night around 8pm when nobodys there,its a 24 hour one (Jetts) i had the place to myself for a while last night,my own personal gym,lol

I also try and walk the dog in the morning and afternoon.

I worked out i go to the gym around 4 times a week,,one hour walking and 5 minutes on the bike but that kills me,aiming to get to 1/2 hour on the bike one day.

Combined with healthly eating and loseing around 1 kg a week i use the simplistic view that each time i go to the gym its worth a 250 gram weight loss .

I can do a lot better tho,,must eat better and a bit more excercise i want to be under 80kgs for a holiday to Cairns mid july,,

Did not go to Swim or Gym today. An old friend was invited home, so ended up spending time with him. Need to cover up during the week with extra workout.

I am off to a shocking start as well,,being self employed the last two days hardly anywork and i never went to the gym last night and only for a little while , my motivation seems to have dissapeared after 2-3 weeks of confidence,,will have to put in a big effort the rest of the week to salvage it,,

For me it was 83.5 to 82.7 on Monday morning
Need to get back to 1Kg this week.

Alright, me at 82.7, shorty at 89.6. Lets start this week's challenge - 6th June to 13th June :twisted:

I'm at 81.2Kg today from 82.7Kg last week. Thats 1.5Kg making up for last week.
