YAY! must be nice sitting in the 70s :)

It's been a bit of a hard week to get back on the wagon, My great Grandpop was told he only had a few days left and passed away last night. Just one of those spanners life chucks in the works I guess. I'm happy that i haven't been comfort eating though.

I've got a twenty first lunch and the funeral this week, both of which are going to have so much food. I know I can stay on track though.

As for actual weightloss, I just jumped off the scales and the wonderful scales that they are let me know I've dropped a kg :)

97kgs. YAY!

I'm really sorry to hear that Han :( it is never easy losing a loved one. At least he did not suffer and went quickly and peacefully, it is the most we can hope for. I hope you are doing okay.

You are being very strong not giving into food for comfort, that's really something! And your 1kg loss is fantastic, keep up the amazing work! :)

Thanks ganymede :)

How are you doing at the moment with everything?

I'm feeling fantastic today, all things considered. Went for a beautiful half hour bush walk that left my poor legs aching which is funny, I can manage an hour on the treadmill without any aches or pains.

I'm really glad you are feeling good and bush walks are always so amazing. You'd be working different muscle groups to the treadmill though because of the rugged and uneven natural surface compared to the smooth surface of the treadmill! Good to spice things up sometimes! :D

I am feeling quite cranky at the moment as the scales keeping moving up and down, topsy turvy! I know it's because I'm being silly and weighing in everyday  which I NEED to stop, for my damn sanity! :P So I keep hitting 80.65 and 80.55 and so on so I'm still kinda not really excited about the 70's because I'm not well and truly there EVERY time I weigh myself. Once that happens I'll be happier. I'm not uninspired or demotivated. Hell, I'm even more motivated than before! But I'm just having a dumb day where the scales have made me cranky and a bit depressed, even though I'm working hard, look great and feel great.

I promise I won't look at the scales until at least the weekend!! :P That's goal number one...goal number two is to then not touch the scales until next Friday!

You aren't alone with that problem. I do it as well, although I'm thinking I really need to get a good set of digital scales, mine are ones that my Father used for a documentary, so they're pretty good but I want to see some grams, I think that will give me a bit more motivation.

I'm going to follow suit. No scales till the weekend, we can do it!

It's frustrating isn't it? Because even though you know why it's being so fickle you can't help but feel a little disheartened.

I know I'm just being silly and that I'm doing all I can but my scales really annoy me sometimes lol! So I'm going to have a break from them and just continue to work my butt off and focus on just feeling good! I'm doing all I can so there has to be a loss! We can do it Han! No scales til the weekend!

It's a deal :) And yes, we can totally do it.

I've decided when I'm at my goal weight I'm treating myself to a trip to London, it's a big treat, but I think its worth it :)

That is going to be amazing Han, you will most certainly deserve a big treat! :D Have you set out a list of small goals and when you'd like to be jetsetting off by?

I do have a lot of little goals, 95, 90 and 85 by my 21st Birthday, followed by 83 for my Aunties wedding and the birth of my Sisters Baby, which will make me officially overweight! That sounds like such a weird thing to be excited about. Then it's just lots of little ones down to 65, although I might stop at 70, have to see when I get there.

I'm hoping to head off semester break next year, which is a year away, seeing as I'm on my semester break now. It's a big ask, but if I hit my mini goals on time I'll make it :)

Hows your scale ban going?

I reckon you can do it! Will takes lots of hard work but I think you definitely have it in you!

I didn't weigh in this morning hoorah! Lol. I went for a 75 minute walk this morning but I think I pulled my hamstring, it's so sore. And now have a huge blister on my other foot from my stupid poo joggers!! Damn them!! I suppose I have had them since 2006 so I think it's time for a brand new pair...wish I had time to get them today, I really wanna be able to walk tomorrow :( just have to see how my hamstrin is feeling haha.

Still ignoring the scales like I am, Han!? :)

Hey hunnie! Glad to see you back :) you deserved a bit of a break, now it's back on the wagon! I'm still trudging along in perpetual plateau bah! Lol. So annoying! I will be stuck at 80.6kg forever :P trying to spice things up at the moment and hoping to get passed it very soon! I'm definitely still losing centimetres because the pants I bought not long ago that were a bit tight are now super loose! Not giving up, I'm so much fitter than I use to be, really surprised myself at the gym last night :) so jus gotta hold on and keep going and eventually things will get moving again!
