I know it's a big challenge, but why not hope for a miracle! Even if I don't make it, I'm better off right?

Aim high Carley! Then you will definitely get there or as close as possible!!! I'm aiming for 77kg. My original goal for November, FAIL. This month will be better ;)

Well, it is the 1st of December and the first day of our December challenge!

I'd like to start on a very positive note. I weighed in on Monday at 79.8kg after eating badly last Thursday and over the weekend as well. Luckily for me because I was being strict otherwise and was doing my shakes, the gain was temporary from all the sugar/fat and I weighed in this morning at...

78.75kg! 1.75kg away from goal on the first day ;) *happy dance*

Now I will not weigh in until next Thursday :)

Hope everyone is doing well!

How is everyone going? I'm still doing meal replacement shakes. I did 45 minutes cycling and 30 minutes on the treadmill at the gym.

Weigh in Saturday, hoping to be a tad lower. Bring on 69 kilos.

First weigh in for December today and I gained 1.3kg :( .

I was absolutely devastated to say the least. I put in an extreme effort this week and that's the result I got.

Here is hoping next week is MUCH better.

Thanks Carley,

I am so bummed about this setback. I have NO idea why I am finding it so hard :( .

In 5 weeks I have lost around 3kg and I am just really disgruntled about it all. Any suggestions?

Hey love, have you tried calorie cycling? 1000 cals one day, 1300 the next, say 1100 the next day and 1400 the day after? I also found that I got into too much of a routine exercise wise so upped it a bit/added more resistance. I didn't need to do this for long before I saw the scales moving again. Also changing around your foods can help too! Swap lunch and dinner maybe? I went through the same thing, I was gaining even though I was working my a**se off and it was depressing to say the least! Just don't stress too much about it, keep doing what you're doing. Get through the week and have something small to reward yourself over the weekend. Don't deprive yourself at a time like this but don't go overboard either. Don't think "why does it matter, the scales say I'm gaining anyway!" FIGHT IT!!! Take measurements as well, sometimes the scales may be aggravating and in a position to be thrown out the window but measurements can show a huge difference.

Keep it up and things will start to happen again! :)

Well, so far this week I haven't done any walking. TTOM began yesterday and I've been headachey and lethargic ever since :( Food has been very good and I'm up to day 7 of no diet coke  I want to get in some light exercise tonight, maybe I will jump on the bike or do some laps of the driveway. Even just a little bit and I'm running circles around people on the couch, right? ;) Not sure how I'll go this week, seeing as TTOM is making me feel like my stomach, boobs and everything else look bloated and like they're the size of a small planet hahaha.

Oh well, weigh in is on Thursday, will see what happens then.
