Its so hard isn't it Puffer. I buy the biscuits because of the kids. I've got to have something for them, even if I make it, which I do a lot of the time. Plus for visitos, hence the eating of the biscuit yesterday. Until I joined calorie king and started looking at just how many calories I eat I never thought I was eating too much. I knew I was still eating too much junk but even on a day where I thought I was being really good and not eating too much crap, I was still over the calories. I still am blowing out but I think by not too much. I just filled in todays and realised I shouldn't have eaten those 2 slices of cheese on the cruskits. I just had 2 cruskits with cheese and tomato on. To me that is healthy but it has blown me out big time with the calories and the 16g of damn fat! I can make it today with the calories, even having a drink with my sis this arvo and having a few sweet chilli philly and jatz crackers but I am over on the fat because of the cheese. The 16g is half of the fat I am allowed for the day. By the time I add in the dry ginger ale with the cc and dinner(bbq) which I will have just a small amount, I end up over in fat, but under in calories! I think it is the fat content that I really do need to look at more than the calories so much. Well in conjunction anyway. I hadnt taken much notice of it until today. So the lesson learnt here, eat the cruskit with vegemite and tomato instead! Mind you I havent had a look at the fat content of vegemite but I would assume it would be a fair bit less than cheese.
