Twelve Week Challenge start 6 Aug 2012 - anyone welcome

Hi,

Starting 12 week challenge on Monday 06/08/2012 and noting down my progress for the next twelve weeks, anyone is welcome to join if they want to. I will be doing weekly weigh in's every Monday on weight taken first thing in the morning. Allows me to have a dribble page and one where I can easily track what's going on each week :D

Would like to reach kg in 12 weeks but will be really proud of my-self if I can lose 1kg a week.

What a great idea, I'm looking forward to seeing your progress :) Since we're both doing the Lite n' Easy thing, I might join you on this 12 week challenge! My last weigh-in was only yesterday so I can start with that weight, and then weigh-in every week on the Wednesday but we'll be on the same week if that made ANY sense haha

No I'm on 1200, I find the 1500 to be just a little bit too much food and I end up wasting things. When I first started it was a bit hard to eat such small portions, but after a week I think my stomach shrunk and I feel pretty satisfied most of the day :) I can't believe I haven't had a big binge in the last two weeks... I think that is the thing I'm most proud of. I used to struggle with it daily, and sometimes I feel myself getting to that point of mindless eating but then I remember how much I really want this.

How are you going on the 1500 plan?

Going pretty good on the 1500, most days it is more than enough and the food is getting better the more I eat it - however nothing beats fresh lol

And the binge eating is a hard one to combat - before starting I wouldn't eat until the afternoon most days then binge eat once the kiddies were asleep a couple of times a week. Been having to stop my-self if I'm thinking about it and ask my self why and I feeling like this? The I try turn the negative into a positive or at the least something I can deal with :P

Good have to you on board and excited to see how we go :)

Lol - had a good weekend, hope you did too :P

I have officially given up smoking - I am on day four so I am over the first 3 days now yay :D :D :D

Struggled a bit days 1 and 2 of not smoking but had allowed my-self two days of busting (not take out or anything too extreme, just "it's ok to have a bit of cheese or that salmon and cheese on toast") out of that now and back to Lite N Easy 100 % again. Soooo happy I lost anything this week let alone 1.5 kgs so pretty happy :)

Well done! You totally smashed your goal for this week, that is excellent.

Also well done on quitting the smokes, I know how hard that can be but I am now 9 months clean. Giving up smoking AND changing your lifestyle is hard to do at the same time but you're doing amazingly!

I didn't have such a good weekend myself, we keep being invited out to eat so now I'm paranoid that on Wednesday I won't see the result I want. But it's all good, as long as I don't stop what I'm doing I know it will be alright.

Well done back at you - 9 months that is fantastic, you must be really proud :D

Don't worry too much about a bad weekend, you can't change what is done all you have control over is the now :)

I have had a couple of busts through out and noticed that it took a couple of days then I was back on track again so don't beat your-self up too hard. I weigh my-self everyday (I did some research on healthy people's habits and that was in the top 5 so have taken on board - do not recommend if you are going to obsess thou) by doing this I was able to work out how many days it would take to get back on track after a mistake and I am also noting down info like that time of month etc I'm curios to see how my body works and interestingly it's pretty good. I have only been on this journey for just over a month now so still new and my data won't start to make sense for a while yet, but is very reassuring for me :)

Oh and remember we are only aiming for 1 kg a week, anything else on top of that it extra - so just remember 1 kg not 1 point something :)

P.S> I know I'm a smiley whore lol but I like them :lol:

Hay no probs there 100g is still a loss :) And if you know of any changes you can make for next week you'll be fine, we all kinda know when we have gone off the tracks for a week or a day.

Any hay how much you lost already?

Would be so exciting to be able to be under 80 kg for your birthday, when I reach around that I will be jumping out of a plane for a reward :D

Let us know how you go over the next week and if ya have any probs always helps just to log on here and read other people stuff or even start a personal progress thread (I have one that I write in most days - lol sounds like I've been here ages and it hasn't even been two weeks rofl :lol: ) it helps.
