JP has done an amazing job, and I know that if he stops beating himself up about the past couple of weeks, he'll do it again (and even moreso) with gusto!!! You listening JP???

Yes I am listening to you DDD, you are right I am beating myself up about this but believe me I think I will come out of it stronger.. I am maybe adding a bit of 'realism' into my expectations which isn't necessarily a bad thing.. I'm far from finished, in fact being start of a new month and new quarter is like having a clean slate all over and that is the way I am going to tackle it..

I now feel even worse as both Shelley's and DDD's recent set backs completely dwarf mine.. It is a testiment to you both that you have achieved what you have this challenge and I am immensely proud of you both..
Shelley, I am sure you will find someone else in time who will treat you the way you deserve.. you come across as a very sincere and honest lady and I'm sure this guy really doesn't deserve you.. breaking up is always painful but take stock, learn by the experience and when the time is right I'm sure you will learn to trust all over again..
She is certainly an incredible lady our Shelley, I'd have been a blubbering mess I'm sure of it.
DDD, wow! it really hasn't been your best few months as it? the way you were treated at work really wasn't very nice or professional *can I ask what you actually do?* I am sure you will be finding something else soon enough and hopefully you'll feel a lot more wanted in your new position.
I'm just an administrator JP, nothing to rave about. I've been working in large educational institutions mostly universities for the past decade, and this recent stint was at a private Registered Training Organisation (RTO) a very small company with only a handful of "closely connected (to the boss)" staff. And after this I've been thinking of going back into my old profession as a youth counsellor (I'd rather work with foolish youth, than bitter and twisted old fools!!!)
I'm lucky to be in a job that I believe is fairly stable, my own personal circumstances are such that I need quite a bit of time off during the year.. I don't feel especially comfortable talking about it on an open forum though in a more private medium I would have no problem discussing my circumstances.. they are a bit more longer term than your two current woes but have certainly settled down the past year or so.. I can't say either that they have had a baring on my weight loss decision making or recent 'poor' performance and suffice to say I am proud of the way you have both tackled your past few weeks setbacks with humanity whilst also keeping your eye on the ball weight wise.. I wish you both the very best for the future..
