Thanks Buttless, Blitz and JP,
I'm pretty happy with the progress, and when I read about yours, am delighted that I am in good company! You're all doing well, and I know we'll make the finish line (maybe not at the same time) together! :D

 100g up this week

Hmmm.....after shaking the dickens out of my scales, checking to see if the batteries were flat/needed replacing or if my cat was brushing up against me (a paw can weigh at least 100g you know) I realised nope, it's just me on here and the scales are working just fine!! Though I can hardly say I'm surprised after my midweek binge that last a whole day!!

Time to dry my eyes, pick myself off the floor (after throwing myself off the scales in a toddler like tantrum!) and move forward (and more importantly) DOWNWARD again. This week is going to be a better week, and those figures on the scale ARE GOING DOWN!!!

That's the right attitude.
Use it as a good reminder what happens if you let your guard down...and use it to spur yourself to great victories! 8)

It's only a defeat if we stop...so keep going - I expect great things from you next weigh in (I know that you will deliver!)! :D

Thanks Kim/JP :)

Yeah I'm plodding along, happy in myself even though I went up a fraction this weigh-in, overall I'm cruising nicely. The scales were kind this morning (85.7kg) which if I keep behaving, and moving my butt, should drop a tad further this week (fingers crossed). I know that if mental attitude has anything to do with it, I'll definitely have a loss, because I'm happy and enjoying my new job!

JP, well done!!! I can see by your sig that you've almost shaken off your holiday indulgences and are almost back to your pre-holiday weight! WAY TO GO JP!!!! :D

Kim, I've been meaning to ask/read how you're going? Sadly I haven't kept up with all the posts lately, hence I probably missed any by you confirming that you blitzed (pun intended) your goal, weeks ago!!

That's the spirit JP  but you know, there's no surprise from where I'm sitting. Your determination screams loud and clear, and I can hear it all the way here (in Melbourne) and that determination combined with your renewed level of self control and gruelling physical efforts is what has (not only kept the gain during your holiday to a minimum, but) returned you to where you started before going on your break! So well done, you should be proud of yourself!!! 8)

I was disappointed last week even though my gain was small, the fact that I had slacked off cost me on the scales, but instead of continuing to let things spiral, determination soon replaced disappointment and made me work twice as hard to undo the damage, and thankfully this was reflected on the scales with a 1.2kg loss for the week. So not only am I thrilled for a good loss, but the fact that I've managed to break through the 85's!!! Life's good!!!

Beautifully done Diva! :D

So many people take gains and allow themselves to fall down even further but you used it as a spur to drive yourself to a really successful week! 8)
I bet it felt so very good seeing that scale tip below 85kg! There is nothing like hitting below those 10 and 5 kilo marks on the scales is there? You worked hard and you deserved your success...now for the rest of it!  :D
