Yeah my head is pretty good tbh, haven't gone off the rails in the last couple of weeks and been doing some exercise, my diet has been good, not the best but have certainly curtailed since my previous downer.. I'm sort of more resigned to the fact I'm going away so its just sort of damage limitation at the moment knowing I am off on Friday..

Thanks for being there Kim ;) I appreciate it, will keep in touch here next couple of weeks though not every day and take it up again in early Oct, I'm not out of this ball game yet, l just need some fair winds..

Fair enough.

Try to spend some time in this upcoming period to work yourself back up.
I feel like you are at a low ebb at the moment.
Think about why you want to lose weight and what life would be like once you have.
Try capturing that vision of success...this sort of thing will re-spark your enthusiasm and desire.

Message me if you want more help with this mental game. More than happy to help.

Hey JP, you know I'm always up for a challenge ;)

And right now seems to be a good a time as any, it's time to make an excellent dent in those numbers to see in the summer months. We still have 3 months til Xmas and despite your trip away, try your best to minimise the damage and come back fighting fit and raring to go. I'll be right beside you buddy 8)

Hi guys,
Thought I'd join you in here. I only want to lose 4-5 more kilos but feel I need the commitment of weekly weigh ins and support as things get away from me so easily due to social life.
Although the weather is getting better or exercise and it's easier to eat healthy salads there is always something on in the lead up to Christmas so my challenge will be these times.
I'm currently 74.3kg and with a height of 175 that just sneaks me in to the healthy weight range but would prefer to be right in the middle of it rather than just clinging to the edge.
I will continue with Fridays as my weigh in day and with only 3 weeks until I'm in Indonesia for 10 nights I've got some work to do :D
Look forward to hearing of everyone's success

Three weeks can get you a long way in weight loss. :!:
Just keep your mind on the game and give it all your focus and you can achieve some great results! 8)

Looking forward to see what next Friday delivers for you. :)

My lack of effort to actually log on and post my result continues but at least the numbers are going down slowly but surely.
Last week I weighed in at 74.2kg so I was a bit disappointed but happy to say the numbers improved today and I am now weighing in at 73.3. I am happy with that as I have not been able to run due to a calf injury which will keep me off th road for at least another week.
I want to make sure it is properly healed before I go away as a morning run on the beach is always part of the agenda when I am in Bali (unfortunately so is the sate and nasi goreng so energy expenditure is very much required  )
Would like to be in the 71s before I leave on the 13th...here's to some hard work ahead.
Looking forward to hearing from anyone else on this ride (or from the supportive people I have already come across who have already smashed their goals and continue to inspire others :D )

At least you are posting Bubbly bear...the others haven't even reported in yet (call JP et al to the front counter).

0.9kg is a good result specially if you are carrying an injury.
One of my bottom line mantras for weight loss is "listen to your body".
What that is all about is detecting injury/discomfort and easing back when required.
You are doing yourself no favours pushing through, doing greater damage and taking longer to recover.
Once fully recovered then you can press forward and quickly hit your stride again.
Good work! 8)

To change your numbers in your signature go to your 'User Control Panel', click on the 'Profile' tab and then click on 'Edit Signature' tab (on left hand side...second one down). Edit away and submit! :) If you want a 'Ticker' like many of the others - then you'll have to ask Diva (Josie) as I've never gone down that path.

Looking forward to your next post in this challenge...be real interesting to see if you can reach 71's before Bali...it is going to take some effort - but the glory is in the trying!

Thank you Bubbly Bear, yes it's great achieving those little mini goals because (before you know it) you're almost at your final goal!!!
And I see you're doing very well too; keep up the good work!!!

Kim, has answered your signature questions, with regard to a ticker, you can get one from the Ticker Factory: http://www.tickerfactory.com/weight-loss/wVJwdRg/ There are lots of tickers, though the link I've provided is for weightloss, there's a huge selection to choose from so, HAVE FUN!!! :D
