Today I weighed in at 88 kilos. Actually, slightly less, but since my scales are analogue I always round up to the nearest whole number.

Start of Challenge: 90 kg
7/10: 90 kg
14/10: 90 kg
21/10: 89 kg
28/10: 88 kg

Excellent Marc...glad to hear that it is coming together for you. 8)

...And what integrity you have. Always rounding the number up...I would have rounded to the nearest even number - and hope it was the lowest one each time!

This week I weighed in at 88. No change, but it's on the way down.

Keep up the good work CB; you'll get there, it's about perseverance and I know you've got bucket loads of that!!! :D

Just checked out your ticker, looks like we're both at the pointy end of the journey with roughly the same amount left to lose??!!
How about a challenge??!! :D
Come on, I'll race you to the finish line!!!

I'm stuck at 88, so I've begun mixing it up a bit - slight change of diet, more incidental exercise.

Start of Challenge: 90 kg
7/10: 90
14/10: 90
21/10: 89
28/10: 88
4/11: 88
11/11 88

When I get stuck on a number I mix it up with a slight change of snacks (reducing them) and a good deal more intentional exercise!  Incidental exercise is fine but nothing like a couple of good well intentional hammer blows to nail that number down!

Looking forward to your next weigh in Marc...
I'm sure you will bring it down. 8)

My progress in this challenge is pretty dismal I'm afraid......
I seem to be going up more often than I am down!!!
I know it's probably due to "muscle building" but geez louise.....!!!
My husband keep telling me to not look at the scales but go by my clothes, and I know he's right, I'm definitely shrinking out of my clothes. I know I know BUT....it is disheartening to see the numbers rise when I want to see the 60s sooooooooooooo badly!!!

Well at least you are here! A lot of people are missing in action on this challenge. :(

Watch the snacking and keep pounding on the exercise...sooner or later the body has got to give it up!

Your husband is right...at this stage it is more encouraging to notice the other changes rather than the scales.
Not just the clothes though - concentrate on what those new muscles are doing for you today...the stuff that you can do now that you couldn't do when you were overweight for example. Revel how close you can move the seat of your car to the steering wheel now. How much easier it is putting on socks than before. Even how much easier it is to pick the soap off the floor when it fell out of your hands when you are having a shower.

These small unlooked for blessing can keep us together in his pointy time. 8)

Start of Challenge: 90 kg
7/10: 90
14/10: 90
21/10: 89
28/10: 88
4/11: 88
11/11: 88
18/11: 89 (Eeek!)
25/11: 88

Plateaued, but it does feel like it's ending. I've changed my diet a bit: more protein, less fat, more fibre and exercise. I'm also dropping my portion size a tad.

Sounds like a strategy that will work.
I know that when I creep up or can't shift the weight - I have to look at that portion size.
It is amazing just how a slight increase in portion size can dramatically throw everything out of kilter.
Keep at it Marc...and move that number along! 8)

2/12: 89 kilos

Not a worry. I haven't been bingeing. I suspect it's just a temporary variation. Still it'll keep me on my toes.
