Fri Day 1: 63.5kg
Sat Day 2: 64.0kg
Sun Day 3: 63.8kg
Mon Day 4: 63.7kg
Tue Day 5: 63.5kg
Wed Day 6: 63.5kg
Thu Day 7: 63.2kg

Sorry, thought I better check....today is day 7 right????
As I don't get to post every day it's easy for me to lose track (especially as my normal weigh in day is on a Sunday), all I know is we started on the Friday so does that mean it's the full week today, or tomorrow????
Either way it doesn't matter Kim, you're ROCKIN' IT!!!! Go boy go!!!!
136.0kg - Heaviest weight (1/1/12)
126.6kg - Starting weight (1/1/13)
60.0kg - Goal weight
63.3kg - Current weight

It's just like the Beatles' song "Eight Days a Week" Josie.
I should have labelled Day 1 as "Starting Weight" instead.
But I wanted to give a running commentary from the starting day on what I'm doing to lose weight.
Sometimes when we read a posted loss number we fully don't realise that a lot of planning, exercise and time goes into it.
The result just didn't happen by good fortune but by hard work.
So treat this week like a Beatles song and then it should work out after that.
The full week is to quote the Easybeats all about "Friday On My Mind".

Day 6: 63.2kg (yayyyyy.....broken through the dread 63.5kg) mind you, only just with a loss of 300g but it's fine....I'll keep battling on and hopefully break through into the 62's by Friday (or the first week of this beastly challenge)

Glad to see you moving - that hard exercise is starting to shift things along for you...great going! 8)
It will be fantastic to see you break through into the 62's. Nothing like moving ahead to keep you motivated to keep moving ahead! :D

Day 7 (30/4/15): 67.6kg

Did 135 minutes on the exercise bike this morning (3x30 minutes and 3x15 minutes).

Good breakfast.
Good lunch.
Good dinner.
Reasonable snacking (just a tad too much after dinner).

Well it was a battle royale this morning.
That's a lot of work on the exercise bike to avoid a gain but I managed it.
Towards the end I had a few interruptions and only managed to do three 15 minute runs rather than doing them as 30 minutes bites or at least 20 minutes. But that is how it was.

The great thing about being publicly accountable is that it puts you under the gun not just to talk the talk but to walk the walk as well.
So I just managed another loss. At the risk of sounding like the boy who cried wolf all the time...I'm not sure if I will be able to make tomorrow another loss day but we will see what the day brings.

I did another 90 minutes in the evening (3x30 minutes) and will see what I can manage in the morning.

Day 8 (1/5/15): 68.1kg

Did 60 minutes on the exercise bike in the morning.

Good breakfast.
Good lunch.
Good dinner.
Snacking should have been tighter controlled.

Well the wolf finally got me as predicted. I had it off as long as I could but I could feel it coming days ago.
Like I said before - two steps forward...one step back. You have to allow for the body to catch up with the program sometimes.
Why the gain? It isn't just one thing but a combination.
Fluid retention for making muscle (because of extra exercise), bowel fuller than previous weigh ins (when dealing with grams - it does make a difference), body slowing it's metabolism down to conserve energy (fat burning) and a host of other things besides.
The thing is not to panic but keep on keeping on.
Sooner or later the body has to surrender the fat if you keep applying the pressure.

In the evening went on a 40 minute bike ride to get some milk.
Did 60 minutes on the exercise bike and will do 90 minutes in the morning (mixing up the routine).

Had a flu shot today...will be interesting to see if it throws me around in the next few days.

So far so good. Just a slight fever on the day. All this exercise must have driven it all away.

Day 9 (2/5/15): 67.9kg

Did the 90 minutes on the exercise bike this morning.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner good but again probably too much snacks.

Pulled back some of the gain of yesterday and hopefully will be able to take the rest of it back in the morning.
That is the trouble with gains...it isn't so much the gain itself but the time wasted taking back old ground instead of forging ahead.

I think I'm going to have to rein in the snacking.
Unlike my actual weight loss journey - this challenge I've been slack on the food front and just been relying on exercise to do the job.
That's like going into a boxing match with one hand tied behind your back...makes victory that much harder!
If I want to get to goal quickly I'll have to stop playing at it and really commit...
Gosh I may even have to sacrifice my two squares of dark chocolate I have after dinner!

How's the mighty Diva going?
Onwards!

Why don't you sort out your snacks of a morning, put them on your breakfast bench and say that's for today, two pieces of fruit, two two point snacks and some vegies that's my snacks for one day and I have it sorted before breakfast..once their gone their gone...
so a banana
an apple
vegie sticks
tomatoe salsa
packet of sour cream and chives (out of a 10 pack)(one packet)
and
a weight watcher snack something sweet...
all of that's 4 points for me and a days snacking...

if your getting your meals right help yourself out by doing your snacks for a day.

All good suggestions Natasha particularly for those that get tempted into re-dipping into the pantry.
But I'm the kind of person that once I've set the limits in my head then that is it.
My main problem was not setting the limits.
Now that I'm on war footing I should be okay with it. :)

Day 10 (3/5/15): 68.3kg

Did 60 minutes on the exercise bike in the morning.
Was hoping to do 90 minutes but slept in and ran out of time.
Sunday mornings are always a tight schedule for me.
So I ended up posting another gain instead of a loss.
Will fix that at next weigh in. :x

Good breakfast.
Bad lunch (ate out and made a lousy choice...but best choice out of the choices I could see).
Good dinner.
Very good at the snacks.

Did 90 minutes exercise in the evening on the exercise bike.

Looking to do more exercise on the exercise bike in the morning and hopefully (weather permitting) go out on the regular bike (hour riding) to shops for a coffee. 8)

Day 11 (4/5/15): 67.9kg

Did 60 minutes on the exercise bike in the morning.

Ate and snacked responsibly today.

Did 90 minutes on the exercise bike in the evening.

Didn't manage to ride my bike to the shops today unfortunately.
But I did manage to get Day 10's blow out back in. :D
Hopefully Day 12's weigh in will show me forging ahead again.

Very curious to see where Josie is at. My last few days of sea-sawing has left me wide open to get taken down by her!

Day 12 (5/5/15): 67.9kg

Did the 60 minutes on the exercise bike in the morning.
Ate and snacked in moderation.
Did 90 minutes on the exercise bike in the evening.

Well I was hoping to gain some ground but instead just held the ground.
I was feeling under the weather when I woke up this morning.
Slightly fevered...think the after effects of the flu shot hit me.
Took it easy today. My first rule of weight loss - listen to your body.
If you don't and don't take care of yourself then it will bite you worse down the track.
Should be better tomorrow and if all goes well - I should again be travelling in the right direction again.

I may not be losing much weight at the moment...but I'm definitely getting more toned and leaner looking.
All this will come to roost soon and I'll start soaring again. 8)

Day 13 (6/5/15): 67.8kg

Did the 60 minutes in the morning as usual.
Was good food and snack wise.

Well managed to get a 0.1kg loss under my belt.
Not exactly racing ahead but not bad considering I'm still feeling the flu shot after effects.

Did 90 minutes on the exercise bike in the evening.
Meeting some fellows for coffee in the morning and plan to bike it to the shop and back...that should do some good.

Day 14 (7/5/15): 67.6kg

Again did the 60 minutes in the morning.
The eating and snacking was okay.

Got a 0.2kg loss this time...which takes me back to where I was a week ago!
Let's hope I don't go backwards in this next coming week!
If all goes well I do expect another loss in the morning. :)

My plans to bike to the coffee shop in the morning came unstuck.
I've misplaced the keys to my bike's lock and didn't want to have the bike stolen while I'm at the coffee shop so I took the car instead.
No idea where I've put the keys...there are six of them - you think that I would be able to lay my hand on one of them.

Did another 90 minutes on the exercise bike in the evening.
Plan to do another 60 minutes in the morning.
