that's good too think its my job because its going too be my lifes work, you are so very right...

Ive got too stop making yummy treats...that seeds me out of control...

Yep...it's your job - and as I've said already...there are no holidays in weight loss.
Heck if you think about it we have nothing to complain about.
We certainly didn't have any holidays off when we were putting on the weight.
So why should we expect anything different losing it?

Thinking in terms of "my life's work" is a very good way to set your mind up for lasting success. :D

Good idea to stop making those yummy treats as well.
If they become regular events then they are no longer treats but indulgences...we can't afford indulgences.
Sometimes some sort of food gets out of control and it is just good policy to get it right away from you.

For me, Dutch Liquorice is that sort of food.
In recent months I've been buying them for my Mum as she really enjoys them.
I buy them on a Sunday night and give them to her on Tuesday afternoons.
But lately I've been "sampling" them too much before I get them to her.
Try as I might I just can't set a limit for them (one is too much and all of them is not enough).
So what I've done is instead of bringing them into the house I leave them in the back of the car (where I can't reach them while driving).
Out of sight - out of mind. Hey...it works for me.

Congrats! :D
I hope that you are serving as a fine example for the others to follow at WW.
0.4kg may not seem much in the scheme of things - but here at the pointy end it is harder to do than 1.5kg was at the beginning of the journey.
Good result Natasha...now get the rest of it! 8)

That is it in a nutshell.
It's not about putting in a mammoth task and sitting on your laurels - it's about steady progression.
So long as you steadily move forward; then you are a winner.

My scales jump all the time. Very rarely do they show three numbers the same in a row straight off (I have a rule...it has to show three times in a row on my scales before it counts and I put it into my book). But I know what you are talking about...sometimes the body isn't to sure what it wants to be and it can jiggle around a bit...specially if you have just finished exercising.

You are right the end bit is the hardest and toughest part. That is why I refer to it as the "pointy end". Think of it like the crest of a hill (or mountain!) - it's the steepest bit but the top is just a little ways off...and the view from it makes all the effort worthwhile! :D

When faced with things like your two big events over the weekend; I find I can draw strength by concentrating on the big picture. Don't focus your attention on the food but fill your mind with what you have achieved so far, determine that you don't want to throw away those hard earned successes and dwell on the need to finish what you have started (to reach goal - preferably before that other girl at WW!   ).

Check out my "Maintenance 101" thread in the Maintenance section. In that lot are posts for coping with out of the ordinary events, suggestions on how to keep yourself on the straight and narrow - and ideas on how to keep your head in the right place.

Believe it or not; you actually have the skills and experience to succeed...all you need is belief!
