Lollys Challenge for this week

Postby Lolly » Sun Jan 21, 2007 7:53 pm

Okies I am setting a mini goal for myself this week as I know it is going to be TTOTM again soon and don't want to gain over the pms time.....

1. I shall endeavor to exercise 4 times for at least 30 mins at a go. - starting with swimming tomorrow cause I got a bad blister from my new joggers and it is not healed enough to walk in shoes yet :?

2. I shall also stick to my calories and not have any treats - if I have cals left over, I am going to use them on something sensible instead of something naughty

3. I shall also cook every night this week and prepare my lunches for work each day and take the snacks with me rather than risking buying something naughty.
Every day I am getting thinner and thinner.....

You can do it!

Ouch on the blister - but swimming will be a nice change, and a total body workout to boot.

Keep us posted.

Day one of my challenge has been good

I only ate what I took to work, have been for my swim and am just about to cook a nice dinner for us (there is only my daughter, youngest son and myself here for dinner) and then I am going to bed early cause I am stuffed

Good work, Lolly! Sounds like you've thought this one through nicely, good luck :) :) I'm sure you'll have a good result on the scales at the end of it! Isn't it annoying that we have to make an extra special effort just cos of TTOM!! GRR!!

I just ate a piece of multigrain bread with peanut butter on it

I have not been able to get to sleep and all I could think about was PB - it is one of my TTOTM foods that call me loudly from the fridge. Luckily for me, I still had the calories left over for it but I feel a little guilty

Okies day 2 has been good so far

I took all my snacks to work but had subway for lunch as I didn't have time this morning to make my lunch - so my lunch was planned in advance - I even rang Subway at 10am to tell them what I wanted for lunch and went over and picked it up at lunchtime :D

Have been for a swim and really enjoyed doing my laps today

I didn't sleep well from the heat last night but it is a tad cooler tonight so hopefully I will rest well tonight as I want to get my swim in tomorrow morning..................... if I can.

Day 3 - bit naughty in that I didn't pack my lunch or snacks

I did however manage to eat well and not overdo the calories - I made the takeaway make me a special lunch - all to my strict specifications which they followed 8)

I have been for my swim again today - am noticing I am getting faster and may have to do more laps to fill up my 30 mins next time.

Sounds like you're going great guns, Lolly! Doesn't matter that you didn't pack your food today - you still made good food choices! Well done for getting them to make your food exactly how you want it, it's not always easy to do that! :) :)

Good work :) :)

Okies the daytime was fine - didn't over do it - had a rest from exercise today but tonight I got takeaway for the kids

They had KFC and there wasn't anything there remotely healthy so I had a fillet burger. I am only 6 calories over for the day though so this is not really a failure - just something I don't want to repeat.

now I feel sick :x

We had a rather long blackout tonight - we were starving so I sent hubby to Maccas to get dinner for all of them and a thai chicken deli choices roll thingy for me (I had enough calories for it)

Apparantly, they don't make those at this time of night - so he got me a McOz, thinking it was a better option because it has salad on it. I was going to eat half but I was too hungry for words and ate the lot - now I am 106 calories over for the day.

I also feel bloated and awful after eating that too - it is sitting like lead in my stomach.

It is now too late to go for a walk so I will have to exercise extra tomorrow to make up for it all
