After joining the "Summer Points Challenge" very late I'm only just appreciating the motivation it has given me to change my 0 points status to :D then to a :!: . I'm now aiming for another :!: by next Monday.

But back to this challenge... I'm going to also award myself points for my good eating days - therefore the days I don't gorge myself on cakes, chips or whatever. I'm going to allow myself one treat a day eg. 1 mini split or something like that. For the days I get through by making the healthy choice I'll award myself a :D and for 5 of those days it'll change to a :!: in keeping with the Summer Points challenge.

Anybody keen in joining me?

I done fairly well yesterday... I did pass on the tirimisu cake at work. I did have a treat last night - marshmallows with melted chocolate but I still think I ate well throughout the day... :D Does anybody think that I've cheated by giving myself a :D ?

LOL yes!!! haha. maybe give yourself a half smile? :) but then again its YOUR challenge so you can set the precendent

LOL didnt want to sound harsh or put you down gina, i think you are doing so awesome :) and like i said its your challenge, you do what you think you deserve :)

Trust me Kate, you don't sound harsh at all. I'm in & out of this site but I think you are one of the most supportive people here... and LOL... I need a kick up the bum to get me motivated... otherwise I could fool myself into thinking i'm being good forever! :oops:

I'm starting to think this is a dumb challenge to set myself... I did so well yesterday up till I visited my mum... then I had 1/2 a mars bars (which I can live with), then some potato chips (not good) & lastly a skim milk milo milk shake... so unfortunately I'll have to put down another :oops:

no i think :) are better than :oops: and if you do well for the WHOLE day give yourself a :D

you are doing really well more often than not gina- it looks sad when you put :oops: for your efforsts because you ARE doing well with your eating except for the occasional treat
