hey andy check out the daily exercise diary for ideas of what everyone does in terms of working out. personally i do different things. i started out walking three times a week. then i did some workout dvds, brought a exercise bike and now i go running 3 times a week. the most important thing to remember is that exercise and healthy food go hand in hand for weightloss. slowly build up from a low level so you dont overdo it and injure yourself. thats why i started out just walking and then added some variety and intensity. if you are quite large (and im assuming so from what you said about how you have just got lighter to start exercising) why not try swimming? you wont feel heavy in the water.
