12 week personal challenge

Im going to do my own 12 week challenge. Here's the gist-

RECOMMENDATIONS (NOT RULES)
:arrow: daily diary entry about feelings (eg, hunger, emotions etc)
:arrow: food diary if needed (i dont need one because im on Lite & Easy and my food plan is on my fridge)!
:arrow: do at least one new thing each week which will make me healthier/ fitter/ happier.
:arrow: substitute one bad habit for one good one whenever possible.

GOALS
:arrow: lose between 5kg-12kg by end of challenge
:arrow: make going to the gym a regular event in my schedule.
:arrow: cut down on diet pepsi (im an addict)

REWARD
:arrow: if i can meet all my goals by the end of the challenge, i will finally do what ive always wanted- change my hair colour from brownish/blonde to platinum blonde!! to match my new hottness :D


if anyone wants to try a challenge with me, doesnt have to use my rules/goals/rewards, that would be sweet!!!!!!!!

thanks, i will.

i didnt want to do a challenge based only on weight loss, i need to do other things, like cutting out pepsi max, and increasing my fitness. and especially working on my mindset and self esteem.

ive been wanting to get my hair done platinum blonde for awhile, but put it off, cuz i dun think it would look good with a chubby face:P so i can only get my hair done when i think it will look great, and that will be a huge reward for me.

ive got 30kg to lose, so im planning on doing a few challenges. and each challenge will have different goals and rewards.

hi jess i can see where you are coming from. with a lifestyle change like losing weight there are many other areas in your life that need a 'tidy up' as well. with me it was really getting out there moving my butt. not just about healthy eating. i also wanted to be a trendy mum and take better car eof my appearance. i also wanted to be confident enough to stand up to myself. these areas have improved for me over the past few months. it will take awhile to completely turn around a couple of things but its good to work on them.

looking forward to seeing the new hair do too. it will make you look and feel fabulous as well :)

Well done Jess, you have some excellent goals there and I agree having different types of goals is good and not just being about weight loss. Excellent and realistic goals, I like your style. :D

well, its been 1 week of my challenge, and weight wise im going well, but my other goals arent goin to well.

i managed to lose 2kg this week, so im real happy with that.

i have managed to drastically cut my pepsi intake, which im proud of. i usually have 2 or 3 cans a day, and im having maximum 1 can or day, sometimes i dont have any, so thats a plus.

as for doing something each week to make me feel healthier, ive increased my water intake alot this week, and i feel so much better for it.

i think my hardest area is emotional eating. ive had a tough week at work, and i come home wanting to pig out. i havent, but the feeling is so strong, and overcoming that will be a challenge.

i only went to the gym once last week, so thats another area i need to work on.

i shall remain optimistic!!!
