I did the 12km back in 2005, and was hoping to get there again this year and beat my time of 2 years ago.
I'm only a walker though, don't do jogging LOL. I'm trying to et my hubby to do it with me this year, and so far he seems keen, just need a babysitter and we're set. Going to be sending in the forms in the next few weeks. If I can jog sections that would be good, but I'll just have to see how I go, I was wiped out last time just walking it.
It might be a little hard to get a group of people who are all in the same catergory (and same fitness level) who are happy walking at the same pace. Maybe we could set up a training schedule for everyone who wants to participate in the race to cover the next 10 weeks though? Make a group effort that way? Just a suggestion anyway.
At the moment I want to try and get out there walking every day if possible.
