I think the best advice to give you is to not beat yourself up over having consumed what you would consider too many calories. We all splurge out now and then, and you clearly havn't lost your motivation at all! - because you picked up straight away and did exercise to counter the extra calories.
But make sure you don't over-do the exercise! Not only can you burn yourself out or make your body ache too much for moderate exercise the next day, but it -is- possible to develop an exercise disorder. Just keep it nice and steady, and you won't have any problems getting the weight off
