put on

Postby Lesley » Sun Jan 15, 2006 9:07 am

Starting weight: 86kg

This week's weight: 87kg

Well I've put on   I'm not happy about it. I feel like just giving up. I know it has happened because I calculated the calories of some rice cakes wrong, then continued to eat them all week, blissfully unaware of my mistake. Until now. Also I need to move more. Very hard when in 24/7 pain. But it has to be done or I'll stay this weight forever. I've been hovering between 86kg and 90kg for 4 years now. I'm fed up. I have to find a way to shift this fat. Hope you can all help.

How do you change the ticker factor at the bottom of the page?

Good luck to everyone else. I hope you are all doing well.

Hi Lesley, don't beat yourself up over it, I put on in my first week too. To change your ticker, you have to go back to the site that you made the ticker on and re do it then paste it in to your profile through the same process as before. I find it helpful to bookmark the ticker maker site to your favourites list.

Hi Everyone,

Week 1: 113kg
Week 2: 110.3
Week 3: 111.3

Well, there's no excuse other than I fell off the wagon on the weekend and ate all the wrong foods and did not drink nearly enough water. I'm not going to let it defeat me though. It's only a little boo boo in the big scheme. Good thing is that I was back into the gym with 4 visits last week.

Don't let it get you down Lesley, there are going to be times when we all slip a little. The important thing is to remember how far you've come, even committing to sharing your weight with us is a fantastic and positive step. You just need to let this tiny little slip go and re-focus for the coming week. You are a wonderfully strong woman who can do this. You have all of us to support you, so just let us know when you need us.

Congratulations on everyone's hard work
Cheers
Paula

Hi all!!

Week 1: SLACK!!
Week 2: 65kg
Week 3: 63kg

Well I lost 2kg - not sure how but I have been pretty careful and I have been walking alot. I guess with the heat you can work off the extra calories. I am trying to be really focused for the next 10 weeks. I said that I wanted to be 55kg bu the end but that may be a little too much to ask, maybe I should aim for 58kg. When I started all of this lifestyle change stuff I was 69kg and that was on 3 October 2005 so I have really only lost 6kg in 14 weeks which is really bad I think. Anyway they say you plateau at times so I guess I have to remember that!!

Lesley - DON'T GIVE UP!! WE are all here for you. YOU GO GIRL!!

Hello all,

i only started a 10 week challenge today, so not weighing in, but everyone is doing really really well!!!

Congratulations to everybody who lost. Leslie, dont give up, just get refocused! Maybe take a day off exercise to allow your energy to build up again - that helps me sometimes

Good luck to everybody for the following week!

HMMM well start of the challenge I was 71, week 2 I was 71 and week 3 I am yet again 71!!!! I know exactly how you feel Lesley. But I am still here trying and it has been years for me as well. But over the years I have put on about 5 extra kgs! Tho this week was a little stressful and I well and truly tripped over a huge hole and ate crap fast food in Perth. We had to go up to clean out my late father's house. Worked my butt off for 3 hours on Thursday and another 2 hours on Friday but it obviously wasn't enough to combat crap for tea Thursday or Friday! Tho yesterday the old boy decided to open a large packet of chips in front of me of course, and I only ate just a couple. He and the kids finished them off. I actually left watching the cricket for 15 mins why they gobbled them up! And I went shopping today and didn't buy any crap for lunch with the kids! I have come home and made myself a salad. But the nice fresh bakers delight flour loaf is smiling at me from the cupboard and I might have to have a piece! Congrats to everyone who has lost weight. Seeing other people lose weight is a motivation to me to eat a bit more sensibly and hope like hell the scales might say 70.5 next week. So go guys go!!!! :D

Hiya everyone. Well done to those who have lost weight, keep trying those who haven't. Remeber every time you chose a healthy thing over something unhealthy is good for your body, even if it doesn't show up on the scales.

Week 1: 98.5
Week 2: 98
Week 3: 97

Dolly I am trying so hard to catch you!
