On very rare occasions I buy myself a Lemon Coconut slice from Muffin break. I got one today after not having one for months.

I just worked out how many points 1 piece is.....

12.5!!!!!!!!

And to think my daily points total is 21!!

Isn't is amazing to think that something thats not so big could be THAT bad!!!!

For the calorie counters its:

2430kj/560 cal
26g fat /17.1 sat fat

far out! thats massive!! i never buy anything from muffin break but it is a prime example of things we could and would eat before and wouldnt give a second thought to. things like that are ok occasionally nikki so i hope you enjoyed it all :)

luckily I broke about 1/3 off and gave it to Ash to try so I didn't eat the whole thing!

I just looked at some other stuff they have, a Rum & Raisin slice works out to be 19.5 points, thats some peoples whole day!!

works out to be 7 points

yeah i get scared off muffins and things. so many people eat them for morning tea and stuff like its not a big deal - they dont even fill you up that much

and yet, most of them are equivalent calories to an entire extra meal!

Hay what about a slice of mud cake from the cheesecake shop - doesn't that work out to be around 20 points?? Or a piece of cheesecake?? Unfair how things that are so damn yummy can be soooooooooooo bad for us :cry:

my work sells a lemon curd muffin that is 1200 cals
they put sooooooooo much sugar with the lemon to make it sweet!
