I have two jobs; i work at a chocolate shop (san churro) and a bar
I just try to keep myself busy. we also get to keep stuff at the end of the day... i just try to throw it out without thinking about it!!!
but sometimes its hard not to sneak in a truffle
and our boss makes us make sure we try everything.. which is even worse!!!!

OH MY GOD!! i went to san churro when i went to melbourne! i LOVE them - but they're not big over here in perth, there's only one place you can get them. which one do you work at? we went to the one on lygon st.

my parents used 2 own a restaurant.... restaurant food when ever we wanted. and whatever we wanted. not good. plus cake, choccies etc...

just keep in your head all the fat the donuts are cooked in.

i worked in a bakery for 5 years and just seeing exactly what ingrediants & cooking methods were used turned me off everything in the shop.

Man, that must be tough! I don't think I'd have enough willpower to not eat all the yummy treats! :?

Aw, that'd be so hard! Yesterday avo I walked past Bakery Delights and had to prise myself away from it so I can imagine how impossibly hard it can be for you. Just think of us cheering you on, good on you, all the best x

That really would be hard. Is it possible to give away the left over food to a homeless shelter or charity? I just hate the waste of chucking out good food. Also keep a couple of Bananas handy for the end of the shift. That'll fill you up and a much healthier option too.

I know the problem. I used to work at a bakery around the 911 incident for about half a year. In half a year I gained 5kg and wasn't able to lose it anymore...
You always seem to get the best cookies and cake, and fresh bread when you leave towards home. Those seem like pro's when you actually have the job and don't mind what you look like. But in the end it feels like you've punished yourself.
