Hangover food!!

Postby fi_112 » Sun May 24, 2009 7:14 pm

Well I'm sure that I'm not the only one who used to frequent the KFC/Macca's/Chicken Treat drive-thru the morning after a big night... but now I have managed to find a few healthier (and dare I say yummier) alternatives to cure a hangover!! I am proud to say I haven't been to KFC for about a year and don't even feel like it (much) anymore :)

My two faves are baked beans on wholemeal toast, and tuna & lite cheese melts (on wholemeal toast in the grill... yummm), which I usually follow up with a milky way or a lite mars bar and a lot of diet coke! and water!!
and then back to bed haha...

Does anyone else have any they want to share??

We generally eat out after a big night, so we'll go to a cafe and i get poached eggs on wholemeal toast without butter, its seriously almost as good as a big breakfast. A bit of BBQ sauce and you're away ;)
5 kg's to goooooooo. The hard 5 ;)

A huge bowl of salad. I seriously crave it when I have a hangover. Sad isn't it?

No, with tea. I can't stomach coffee with a hangover.

God, I've been dieting for too long haven't I?

I don't get hangovers!... sorry guys! I can drink to my hearts (heads?) content and rise the next morning feeling fine. All i need to do is have a big drink of water before hitting the sack. Well actually, in that case... my hangover remedy is water, before i get hungover?

I'm with MissMinx. Chinese food or a Laksa or pad thai. mmmm, there's a reason I don't drink as much anymore. :)
