Relapse Day

Postby Butterfly_Dawn » Mon Jul 10, 2006 7:13 pm

I'm having a bit of a relapse day. Had a crap weekend (basically no weekend and feeling worn out) and I got up on the wrond side of the bed and to top it off I'm stuck on 78kg F#*%^ S$%^ D*!@

SO today on top of my usual food I ate 100gm block of 77% cocoa chocolate, 1 muffin and a good few sweet chilli and sour cream rice cakes.

But I will try and get back on track today. Just having a bit of a "why bother it's stopped working' moment and wanting a good feeling sorry for.

FEEL SORRY FOR ME!!!!!!! (picture me chucking a 3yo tantrum right now)
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)

Tegan, for all the good days you've had, one really bad day is allowed.
Many diets actually say to have one day off dieting per week so you don't get involved with long term tedium.
If you must, take a break from dieting for a day or two until you are in the right frame of mind again.
Remember that when people get close to their goal it's always harder to drop the kilo's.

WOW!! you have lost 30kg Tegan that is awesome. :D

With that kind of commitment I am sure you will get there even with the having an off day. I know it is so hard but we have to not beat ourselves up too much and learn to continue on the next day.

Well done Tegan :D :D :D

Big 'hugs' Tegan.

Now pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back in the saddle. One day isn't gonna break all these invaluable habits you have formed and it's probably high time you gave yourself some real treats anyway.

IMHO you are doing great and you should be proud of your achievement so far.

Still feeling a little rough at the moment. I've decided for the rest of this week I'm just going to relax a little. Not going to go over the top, but there's a whole lot of factors making it hard for me at the moment which will resolve themselves next week when I finish training and am back into my regularly scheduled program. So in the meantime, I'm going to do what I can when I can and not go over the top with food, but not be too severe on myself either. I figure a few days, even a kilo added is not much in the grand scheme of things.

Sensible plan Tegan. If you have a lot going on mentally then fretting over what your are or aren't eating is the last thing you need.

All the best. :D
