Bad Marc! Bad, BAD Marc!

It was a "sending-off lunch" for a colleague so I purchased the traditional meal - Pizza Hut thin and crispy pizzas for everyone in the office. One each.

They average 1200Kj per slice. I had all eight. There were leftovers so they went on a plate in the fridge. At 6pm I found myself alone in the office, still working away diligently and not downloading porn (in case my boss ever reads this post :-) and - hungry. Yes, I absent-mindedly reached into the fridge and grabbed two cold slices from the plate. Mmmm.

Bad, bad Marc!

That's 12000Kj of pizza today, plus breakfast and the garlic bread that came with the pizzas.

It pretty much cancels out the gains I made this week, according to my food diary:
Mon: 55550 Kj
Tue: 5450 Kj
Wed: 4900 Kj
Thu: 5100Kj
Fri: 14,000 Kj

Bad boy. Hisssssssssssssssss!

On a good note, I have lost 4.7 kilos in the past 5 weeks.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear. But yes.. mmmm piiiiiizzzzzzaaaaaaa.............

All in all, it was one day. May as well be hung for a sheep as for a lamb :wink:
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

I hope there was one '5' too many in Monday's KJ count :lol:

Oh Crikey! Yes, one too many '5's for the Monday. :-)

I've maintained my kilojoule count since then. However, it is interesting how after a big meal one day with lots of carbohydrates then the next day or two I have big cravings for more.

My food energy intake from the next day, Saturday, is as follows:
Sat: 7050 KJ (bumped higher than average by a couple of nice Tasmanian ciders.)
Sun: 5300 KJ
Mon: 4950 KJ
Tue: 5250 KJ

You just had one of those days where you seemed to feel powerless in controlling your urges. You'll get over it, I swear. All you need to do is get back on tract as soon as the next day comes.
