First proper cave in for a week and a half ish.

Bought some old gold rum and raisin that was supposed to go home with me after a day at Uni.
Just ate 1/2 the block (100g). I was only going to have a couple of pieces. :roll: :oops:

BUT I did stop at the half, and didn't go the whole lot like I would have in the past, so I count that a partial success. I will now aim to leave it alone and be super careful for the rest of the day.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

Good on you for stopping at half! That just shows that you can stop if you want to. Even if it's a small success, it's all success by degrees. At the worst case scenario next time you should be able to stop at a quarter, and the time after that at a row. Eventually you'll get used to having just a square or two.

This whole weight loss business is a long journey. Any time you manage to be a bit healthier than you were in the past you should be happy!

That's the way! Always look for the positive!
Even skinny people have a treat every now and then ... so long as you aren't doing it after every meal it's okay to have a bit of a blow out every now and then.
I was a bit naughty myself and had a lamington today - spent an extra 15 minutes on teh treadmill than normal. Not that that made up for it entirely but made me feel I was doing something towards it LOL

Yeah JP, you guessed it, the other half disappeared in my gob the next day. All the proof I need that I STILL can't have chocolate near me :roll:

Have been relatively good in the last wee though, except the last 2 nights when I've gone a bit silly after dinner... not sure whether it's because I suddenly upped the exercise, or if it's a PMT thing :?

Haha I just knew it :lol:

Anyway can't get on to you too much as I treated myself to a packet of Rolos yesterday night and boy were they enjoyable sat down with a cup of coffee, trouble is when they were gone I was craving more, lucky it was a small packet otherwise I'd have scoffed the lot and had to fight urges of getting into my car and going to the shops to get more :roll: - not good really but finally got over my craving and will try to be a good boy for a few more weeks before I go away..
