Just Lose Control

Postby Lilly88 » Thu Sep 15, 2011 5:56 pm

I totally lose control at about 4pm. It's like a switch goes off in my head and WHAM, I just have to have something to eat, be it sweet or savoury, mostly savoury.
I'm not sure but I think it's just out of habit. I am no way hungry. There's this force that pulls me towards the fridge, like a huge magnet dragging me in. The willpower is shot, none there at all.
AAAH, I'm craving a great big packet of chips at the moment. I'm hoping if I stay here with you guys it will go away. (Not a chance)

Try and break this cycle by making 4pm your exercise time. Commit to a gym, PT session or a gym/fitness class. Tell yourself that you MUST do some exercise for a decent length of time and if you still feel like something afterwards then you can have it.

1. You will be less likely to feel like it
2. If you do then at least you have burnt some of those calories off!

I didn't eat the chips, had raisin toast instead. But I have decided now that the weather is warming up this is the time I will start my walk. I cannot get to a gym at that time of day as I live to far from town. So I am either going to walk or get into my zumba again. Wish me luck.
