More I think about it, the more convinced I am I will reach goal.. I am in very familiar territory actually losing the weight, I have it sussed when I am fully focused.. What terrifies me is the Maint stage and that's where I am trying to learn from previous mistakes! It's scary, it's kinda like I want the losing stage to last forever, which actually makes no sense at all when you think about it! It's obviously the new lifestyle factor I haven't mastered there but anyway this chat can wait for another day..

The maintenance stage is very like reaching goal process except without the glory.
By that I mean that no one is going to cheer you on for just staying the same weight.

I just bounce around a narrow band of weight range using the same skills that I learnt during weight loss. When I get too high I just rein it in by exercising a little extra and watching the extra food intake.

Maintenance food wise is keeping it moderate but not nearly as harsh as during weight loss. I indulge in a few treats (but they are monitored carefully). The treats that I allow myself for example is two pieces of quality dark chocolate daily and a cappuccino most days (before this weight loss I rarely had cappuccinos...for some reason this is my new lifestyle vice).

The major difference between maintenance and losing weight is really just your goal mind set isn't on just one number but to stay in that small range of numbers.

Those who have successfully kept the weight off for two or more years usually share some common lifestyle habits. They are:

They do some form of exercise daily
    They weigh themselves daily
    They eat breakfast daily
They eat the same foods routinely (they stay with what they know) and many still count calories

Which reminds me, also had a Latte yesterday but without any sugar, even the raw sprinkling I usually add on top ;)

OK let's get this one out of the way!

First thing this morning I was offered a bacon sarnie and every instinct was to say No on my first morning home but alas I succumbed and mighty nice it was too  - I did feel a bit bad considering I hadn't even weighed in and part of me was saying, don't worry start again tomorrow but it's done now, I haven't had anything else all day and I will just have my main meal tonight and go for an hours walk, it's all good and have a good platform for the rest of the week now..

Start the way you mean to finish! Good start JP! 8)

I'm sure there is much to confess but really it is what you do today that counts.
Yesterday only matters if we have learnt something about ourselves from it.

Looking forward it see what you do in the next coming weeks...
I expect to see some real focus weight loss from you!

Fully focused and full steam ahead, hopefully no confessions again for a long while as I resolve to get fully back into it now..

Let's hope there's no more entries on this page for a while..

I reckon you'll be too busy exercising to get into any sort of eating trouble for a while!

You've had a week to ease back into it, now it's time to GAME FACE this journey and kick some butt! Or I'm coming to the coast to kick yours ;)

Detailed the 2 times Maccas breakfast elsewhere but guess what I don't even think that was a blow out.. I was ravenous after a night on the turps and hungry and I worked it into my overall schedule for the w/e and you know what it's all going to come out in the wash by Friday anyway I reckon.. as for the kebab, pretty healthy option all up  it was the dozens of beers l washed it down with that coulda been the problem and even they were Pure Blonde Premium lower carb beer.. 8)

It WAS a busy weekend right?...must have worked up a power of a thirst from it!

You must have made some moderate choices...you didn't get run over by the bus at least...a mini cab maybe but not the bus! :D

Time to win your own championship cup...suit up and report for duty!
