Actually this "lost weekend" of yours is very instructive. It shows that even with impaired judgement you are still making healthy lifestyle choices. If you like - you aren't on a "diet regime" but that it is part of your DNA so to speak...you are starting to lead a healthy lifestyle (abet with some very hedonistic tendencies! ).

It's starting to come together for you JP. 8)
But remember one battle isn't the whole war...keep at it!

As long as l don't turn out like General Ambrose Burnside, Union Civil War General. After the surprising defeat at the Battle of Fredricksburg, Abraham Lincoln said "Only Burnside could manage such a coup to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory"..

Poor Lincoln...he was so hampered by his generals...each one a total dud until finally Grant got the job.

Embrace the pain! Unless it's bad pain  I'm only just now back in fighting form after injuring my quad  I haven't been back to the gym since, I'm too afraid of facing my PT just yet  But when he asks why I haven't been training, I'll respond with, I have been kicking butt!

Embrace the pain? Just remember it when you get up tomorrow and every step hurts...just say to yourself..."this is good...this is good"...it probably wont help you but at least you will a self righteous glow about you!

Feeling it but I've had days after my jet skiing when I've felt a lot worse, those sessions can really take it out of your body like you won't believe especially if you are riding the waves, great fun but crashing down jars your whole body.. you really feel it the next day..

Speaking of which, jet skiing on Saturday..

How's that old song go? "Slip sliding away"

Time to pull it back in or you'll never hit your mini goal.

Keep your focus JP! :D
