Evil KFC!

Postby dancer » Tue Jan 23, 2007 1:24 pm

Oh have been so good, and then I'm just so tired from working crazy shift all weekend and I drive past KFC today and what do you know, I'm in there buying up.

I feel so sick now, and really depressed and angry at myself.

Now can you believe I actually want chocolate too.

What's wrong with me? How can I be so good and lose 2 kg in a week and then completely blow it.

I'm going to read something motivational now and try to get my head back in the right space.

Thanks for the venting room!!!!

Just remember the way you feel now hun, because next time if you're close to slipping up, just think of that feeling and it'll make you go "eek! nope, don't want to feel like that again!!"
You're doing really well, keep at it and you'll be fine :) Don't beat yourself up about it :)

Hey Dancer!
KFC huh! Hmmm, that was a slip up eh?
Never mind.... get back on the right wagon mate and try and remember next time how crap it made you feel afterwards.
I get cravings for KFC (its the only fast food joint we have here!), but I always think how bad I feel afterwards!!!

Will power and putting revolting images in your mind about places like that is sometimes the only way. I met a young guy once who said he worked in a KFC place when he was younger, and he said that there is NO WAY that he would eat the food 'cause he knows what the young kids do to the food when the managers aren't watching... . BLAHHHH!!! That image is enough to keep you off the stuff for life!!!!

Remember, to carry fruit with you all the time... that way you have something to eat when the urge comes to you!

Hey Dancer....try not to worry about it too much....Just make your next meal a healthy one and keep going!! Don't give in now over one meal!!

Next time you fancy KFC.....have a chicken fillet burger....one of these easily fits into a healthy eating plan!! Sure it is not the healthiest meal, but you can still have one and lose weight too!! Moderation is the key!

Thanks guys,

I have been thinking about how crap I felt afterwards and it made me get back on the wagon, so I should be fine now, I hope.

I realise that I'm only human and I'm bound to slip into old habits every now and again. I just need to be organised and have another option available to me at these times.

Tiffanyp, thank you, the thought of kids doing stuff to the food is a really good deterrent for me.

I'm back on track!!!!!!
