Oh woe is me :cry:

Yesterday I had my nephew over for the day and a sleepover. I thought I would treat the boys for lunch and brought a packet of mini pies to heat up for them. I also brought stuff to make my lunch at the same time BUT I checked out the calories on all the mini pie boxes and found the Bi-Lo ones were the lowest in calories - bad move.

Because they were the lowest in calories, I ate 2 of them for lunch and then felt rotten all afternoon. I should have made my sanga, it would have filled me up much better than 2 measly mini pies :oops:

I didn't go over my calories for the day BUT I still feel guilty about them and thought posting might remove the demon guilt :lol:
Every day I am getting thinner and thinner.....

okeydokey's then...lets have a lookey!! You didn't go over in your calories and you only had 2....Lolly I would give yourself a pat on the back actually. I bet you would have eaten way more than 2 if you weren't embarking on a healthy lifestyle?? (I know I would have) The thing is these kind of foods can still be worked into a healthy daily plan.....the key is the moderation. If you were going to eat a 12 pack a day, every day, then no it is not good for your overall health, let alone your weight. To have them in a one off situation is fine! You did the right thing by not eating your sandwich as well and I would have just added a simple salad to those pies, to fill you up a bit more.

LOL i remember when i started my weightloss journey and freaked over a red frog i ate. this is the same thing. overall 2 mini pies aint going to kill you. move on lolls you will be fine :)

I am heading off swimming now - there and no pies left because the kids ate them all - coming home to a nice mid morning snack and then doing the shopping where I am NOT buying any pies lol

speaking of the c nut, this morning I got up and Bob pointed out that Bec had left behind some almonds - so I ate them all for brekky with some grapes :lol:

I didn't realise they were not to bad on the calories - I ate 28 of them (yes I was a good girl and counted each one as it went into my gob). Surprisingly, they are a good filler too :D

Little treats now and then aren't bad :) :) You did very well only having 2, Lolly!!!

I don't feel guilty at all if I have a little of something.. I used to have a few treats each week if I felt like choccy or something. I'd just have a square or 2 of chocolate or a fun sized bar. It keeps you on track! Lately I just haven't felt the urge though :D
