It had to happen

Postby Butterfly_Dawn » Thu Feb 22, 2007 11:48 am

3 freddo's and 2 summer rolls yesterday, then after dinner 2 biscuits and a sml pack of chips

Ah well. I think my body is just trying to respond to the increase in exercise. Will try to recognise this and feed it more good food.

Nice positive thinking Tegan. Listen to your body by all means, but make sure you react by giving it what it needs. :D

Some days things just don't go according to plan and then there are the days when we are hungrier and just end up eating the wrong stuff. You'll be right and at least you recognise what you have done and the possible cause.

Are you buying them in a pack Tegan? Never mind, they are gone now and they won't be coming back. Back on the wagon again.

One of the other students at uni is rasising money for her son to go to a taikwando championship so there's 2 boxed of them hanging around.

You will all be pleased to know that not a single sugary item has been consumed since Wednesday...and I have had the cravings - even down to opening my wallet to get the dollar coin.

But on the good side, I have ridden to uni/work every day except yesterday (due to weather) this week. Feeling not too bad. Weather permitting I think I will ride every day next week - I'm just focussing on not breaking any speed records so i don't expend all my energy at once.

I right there with you with the whole 'kick the sugar habit' thing.

BTW - how do you find cycling in Tas? Do you live/work/study near Hobart? I started riding to work (into melbourne CBD, about 8km from home) and while riding there was pretty uneventful, riding home saw me have two very near misses in two days (drivers not looking out for cyclists) so I've decided to leave the bike at home and walk instead... takes a lot longer, but sadly, it's a lot safer :(
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...
