I drank a bottle of wine last night

Postby milkyway » Sun Mar 04, 2007 11:17 am

I drank it all by myself. I am suffering for it this morning. :x  What a hangover. I am out of practice

I was planning to have a few drinks this afternoon at a party (now that my month of no alcohol at all has concluded) but I will abstain and offer to drive instead. Back on the wagon. Sparkling mineral water for me thanks.

And one more word for myself...

The backs of my hands are all wrinkly and look like a 90 year olds... so definitely starting to pump the water back in.

There is some good news amidst the wine and the hangover -- I didn't eat any snacks while drinking, not even healthy ones

LOL oh Kate but you're right you're supposed to eat whilst drinking but sometimes things just don't work out that way.

I had two 1/2 glasses of white wine, it was yummy. LOL me and my 1/2 glasses so I actually had 1 glass of wine.

I always have 1/2 glasses I have done this for years now. Even if I drink 10 of them they will still be 1/2 glasses. LOL it's a habit I have got into. Only 2 of the 1/2 glasses Kate. Then a small slice of cheesecake. :P I wasn't hungry I just didn't want to miss out.

Milkyway, I hope that it was a really good bottle of wine, and that you really enjoyed it. 8) If so it was worth the hangover - just throw in an extra exercise session this week to cover it. :D

Judy :D

You know what they say, Kate -- hot going in, hot going out :P

Ally, the head is fine. Woke up feeling very seedy and with a pounding headache this morning, but nothing a few painkillers can't fix. Feel fine now -- ready to go for round two -- just kiddin' ;)
