We have overseas visitors here and we have been out to dinner a couple of times and I ate chips!! Ya know the sort that goes with fish

I have eaten my chocolate orange - it has taken me a week but it is gorn! <sp>

I have had bacon on the barbie grill ...sausages on the barbie - steak on the barbie - seafood on the barbie and so on....

So all in all very norty, norty - but I have not gained a thing!! I don't know why not. My other half is over 1.5 kilos heavier than me now  I was a few kilos heavier than him for about 6 years!! Now I make him jump on the scales so I can use his weight as a bench mark and an incentive for myown weightloss - another exciting thing happened - I went shopping with a friend and tried on some short jeans - the 3/4 length ones and I fit very comfortably in a size 14!!!!!!!!!!!!

As soon as I got home I tried on a pair from last year a size 16 and they were.........................................too BIG

I am pretty happy with the results - but would still like to lose another 5 kilos.

Thanks for inspiring me my friends.

Cheers
Maria

Woohoo! Maria, congratulations on fitting into those size 14 Jeans.
You've just inspired me to get rid of all the junk food that has accumulated over the chrissy break.

35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

congrats Maria, i think why you didn't gain the extra weight for eating those things is that you've developed a better metabolism with healthy eating
