Krispy Kreme

Postby Chelle » Fri Aug 24, 2007 2:29 pm

I was just saying to warren on the weekend I was craving for Krispy Kreme I haven't had one in year's because I live to far away from a store. I was reading the paper when I was at the gym while I was waiting PT to turn up. There it was in the paper a store opened up on the weekend in Newcastle where I just so happened to be today because I had to pick up one of my lay-by so I had to visit the store & bought 2 choc sprinkles Krispy Kreme it was so yummy, I'm going for a walk today to work it off, but it was worth it.

They are in deed. There is a new one called dreamy donut's that opened up last week, never heard of the joint before but they go on & on about it on the radio. Dont' know exactely where it is located either, but they seem thoses type of donut stores are so popuar & people line up in big ques to get a Krispy Kreme is amazing. I dont know if it like that now but when Krispy Kreme opened up there first store in Penrith it was so umbelievable the amout of people lined up to get boxes of the stuff.

I had some recently - not bad but not sure what they hype is all about. It's just a frigging donut :P Had a bit of an aftertaste, too...

I totally agree, San! I haven't tried them but it's just a donut, how good can it be?! I'd much prefer a yummy low fat apricot scroll from Brumby's, mmm!

I remember being really excited when they came out. My boyfriend said they were disgusting, I refused to believe him, then one day, I went out to chadstone by myself and I saw a KK there. I walked towards it, my eyes as glazed as their donuts and about 3 metres from the door it suddenly hit me: the smell.
It was putrid. This stinking, horrid putrid smell infesting my nostrils. I gagged when I realized it came from the Krispi Kreme Store. It smelt horrible! I didn't even think, I just did a 180 where I stood and walked away.

I can still remember the smell. Yuck! Horrid!

I used to be really addicted to their Honey Glazed, which we can only estimate the calories thank you so much, and fortunately I got over that fattening addiction.
