My biggest downfall is drinking alcohol. I do so well then I come home from work and all of my friends are ringing saying come for a beer. i try to say no but they will put one in front of me!! :oops:
I want to be alcohol free for a while but it is hard because we live in a very small beachside town where we have a constant stream of house guests who are always in holiday mode...HELP!!!

Any suggestions??

my WW leader says to carry a wine glass around with sparkling mineral water in it or a glass of low cal soft drink so it looks like your drinking but not really :wink:

no advice here xoz i have the same problem!!
i just go the lowest cal drink i can, usually vodka, with diet mix or soda, in a tall glass so it lasts..
Life is too important to be taken seriously!

You can have half nips of sprits with diet soft drinks. This way if you have 2 it equats to 1 and you don't feel like you are missing out.
Start weight - 77kgs
Goal weight - 53kgs

I aways am driking "gin and tonic" which I get myself from the bar when I am not allowed not to drink which is not very often as I have supportive friends luckily. What my friends don't know is that it is soda water with a slice of lemon. That way, even if someone does buy me one when I'm not looking, it's only 1 or 2 and I think G&T is realtively ok as far as alcohol is concerned.

And my friends are always amazed at how well I hold my liquor. :wink:
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
