I know what you mean about self control. Usually once a week we have takeaway so I can have a night off from cooking, so last night we went to Subway. Before we left i was thinking 'this should be okay, I'll just get a six inch sub, just a plain kinda one with no cheese and everything should be okay'. We got there and those thoughts were left in the car. I ended up ordering a footlong Cheese Steak sub with cheese. I didnt eat all of it though because my daughter had some of it. I am trying to justify my choice by thinking that 'well at least we didnt go and get McDonalds or KFC or fish and chips or something else as equally fatty'.
I'm learning to eat better during the day though. If i get up after 8:30am I usually skip breakfast thinking that its too close to lunch (which is probably very bad thinking I know) and then for lunch I usually have a salad roll with either ham or tuna. Dinner is usually pretty healthy too...
I'm so glad I am getting some control back! I just have to work on the rest lol
