MY PROGRESSS

Postby babyplease11 » Thu Nov 15, 2007 12:15 am

okayy.
i have decided i have two important events coming up that i want to look great for.

i have a friend who lost about 10-15kg this year and looks great, but possibly too thin!

im not ana, mia or any of that censored. (no offence)
BUT
i am pursuing 5-10kg weight loss by christmas.
i know this isnt safe or healthy
but i would really like to lose a dress size (12) to 10.(small).
and just be comfortable with my body in time for summer.

so i figured out if i have 300 cals a day.
its possible.
THIS SOUNDS RIDICULOUS I KNOW.
but im getting impatient.
i will combine regular exercise of course.
(it estimates -1kg every 4 days)

wish me luck
please.
arghh.
:?:

Lol do a little googling, and you'll understand why that wont work, and that you needn't be so restrictive anyhow.

No, I won't wish you luck as that won't help you on a 300 calorie program  I'm sorry, but you may say that you're not 'ana' but that's an ana diet. Do as Misstoodles advises and google why it won't work.

Sorry if I come across as a bit harsh. I don't mean to. It's just that this forum is about helping lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way :) There is no quick fix or none of us would be here and your approach is neither healthy nor sustainable.

Oh sweetie, Please Do NOT do it. I have done it......I starved myself down to 30 kilos and then ate and ate ......I couldn't help it and I blew up to 110kg (that was my highest!)

Through sensible calorie counting and exercise, I am now 59.1kgs.....still not happy, I continue to lose weight the healthy way!

I know it is YOUR decision in the end but I am impatient too and just wish this weight would dissapear but it will not.

I recall my favourite lecturer said to me once, 'too many people focus on the outcome and don't enjoy the journey!' I have started (KINDA) to try and enjoy the weight loss journey...... sometimes hehehehe!

I know you are in pain and I know you want this but please reconsider ...... a thyriod condition could easily develop or other health problems! Please look after your body, it's the only one you get, although sometimes I wish I could exchange mine LOL.

Take care and let us know how you are going!

You can reach a size 10 without doing this.......I promise and we will all help you! :D

Why are you so desperate to lose all the weight by Christmas? Have you tried eating 1,200 calories per day and exercise (cardio and weights)? Sorry for all the questions - I am trying to understand and hope I have not been too harsh! :D

Ok, firstly, welcome to the forum!
by Christmas you can healthily lose 4, maybe 5kg. That is enough to just about get you 1 dress size down, particularly if you do it by combining healthy exercise which will tone you with sensible conventional eating or an eating plan like TF (i.e. the healthy way that most of us have lost our weight). And you do NOT need to go to the extreme (and EXTREMELY unhealthy and dangerous) lengths of 300cal limit per day. I don't support or encourage you to do that at all.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"You can't change the winds, but you can change the sails"

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"
