2005 was such a crappy year for me... except the birth of my baby :)

I ended the crap year at 109kgs (heavier than the day i gave birth) and was really dissapointed in myself, so i decided enough was enough.

1/1/06 109
8/1/06 103.7
15/1/06 102.1
22/1/06 100.5
29/1/06 98.9 Month One: 10.1 kgs lost!!!
5/2/06 97.2
12/2/06 95.4

I am feeling so good about myself... i can see and feel the difference, not just physically but emotionally and mentally... even spiritually

Thats all for now :)

Ladybug,

Lets hope 2006 brings you lots of happiness and good fortune.

Congratulations on your weight loss so far. It's amazing the extent of change you go through when you embark on losing weight.

Just think, when your daughter/son starts to walk you'll be able to tear around with her/him without being hampered by extra weight.

Take care,
Angel

Hey Guys,

I'm a daily weigher as well but no need to be embarrassed, I believe it helps me pull myself up before I go off track.

The experts tell us not to weigh daily because our weight fluctuates so much on a day to day basis. So we are not getting a true weight doing it daily.

Me, I like to check my progress throughout the week, for instance if I weigh heavier than I did on my weigh in day I'll be really careful for that day in the hope that it changes the next day, so I reckon weighing yourself daily helps with motivation, it certainly does for me.

Cheers,
Angel

Hello Angel

SO you weigh yourself on a daily basis as well.I think you are right about what the experts say but....and theres always a but with me  I think like you said it helps with motivation.

If you know youve had a heavy day - like had to much to eat and if you see it reflected on the scales I think it helps to help you stay in line I guess - it does for me but sometimes if I see I have gained it affects my mood for the day and I know thats silly isint it?

DO you have an official weigh in day? I weigh in on saturdays and I lost 800 this week.I am happy with that and the fact that all the workouts I did during the week are paying off.YOu are doing pretty well yourself...

Lady Bug how are you? Are you weighing in toomorow? I am Dying to know how you go.You are on fire at the moment and I just love to see it.It reminds me of myself this time last year when the weight was litreally falling off me.You are doing great guns.

Well i didnot weigh in this week as i know that i have gained weight and couldnt take another kick in the guts.

My home got broken into on the weekend and they stole my keys and wallet. they tried to steal my car but the alarm went off ($800 well spent) but i was scared as they had my house, car keys and the alarm panel for my car. Luckily it is al fixed now and the keys a now useless... and being a single mum it has hit me hard...

I had a few too many drinks on the weekend and ate crap coz i felt like crap or didnt eat at all, didnt exercise.

I have snapped out of it now and am back on track... you know that feeling in your tummy that isnt quite hunger... but you know that its eating your fat... well thats how iam feeling YAY
Is that as clear as mud or what LOL

ONWARD AND UPWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lady bug

I am sorry to hear about what happened.Bloody mongrels will get their Karma dont you worry about that.

It sounds like you have been doing a bit of emotional eating yourself but you have made the connection and thats a good thing.

Good on you for dusting yourself off and getting back with the program.

YOu know there is a major difference between people who loose weight and those who dont and that is the way you handle set backs because the way you handle setbacks will detirmine the outcome and that makes ALL the difference.

Once again I am sorry about what happened but you are doing the right thing now by not letting the mongrel win.

Oh LadyBug, I'm so sorry you had such a frightening weekend. It'll take a while before things will feel fully safe again.
It's hard to believe so many people break into houses every day, usually to steal stuff to get drug money.

you are doing so well ladybug!!

I am a daily weigher as well. It affects my mood for the day also. I would normally get angry and just give up and say stuff it, and eat choc or soemthing, but now as of today I am looking at the number on the scales and if its up, I am going to turn that anger into exercise and then make sure the next day it does go down.
