went for walk/jog this arvo. Legs just felt like lead. :( By the end of the week I really struggle with the exercise and feel exhausted and I get calf cramps and a stitch. :( And I'm STILL only losing a kilo a week. Makes me scared to take a day off. Kinda feels like I'm being ripped off when you see all those skinny people around you who seem to be able to eat anything and everything and do next to nothing.

well I bought a bike yesterday so will be riding to and from work from Monday.

I was so excited, I came home and rode it around the driveway - and realised how long it was since I last rode a bike.

I just hope I don't crash and hurt myself on the first day, or worse, crash and write off the bike LOL.

I also bought myself some new jeans and now fit in to the ladies jeans!! Yay. And I had a haircut and bought some new tops.

And to top it all off, I had the exact amount in coins to pay for my parking when I left the carpark! What a good day.

Am now under my 90kg mark which I said some time ago that I would buy myself something special when I broke that barrier. I'm gonna go buy myself a CD next time I get the chance!

I'm pretty proud of what I have achieved so far, but know that the last few kilos are the hardest. But I'm getting lots of compliments (on a recent visit, some friends who hadn't seen me in a few months later said to the bloke that I was half the size I used to be and that they didn't recognise me :D )

I rode my bike to and from work today. 45 min there 1hr10min back. And on the way back it was ALL work. I was soooooo pooped. I've decided for at least the first month that I will only ride Monday Wednesday and Friday. Then I might increase it to Thursdays too, but not Tuesdays as that would leave me only 1/2 an hour to have dinner and get to badminton, plus I'd be too buggered to play.

I'm really enjoying the riding and although the scales don't show it as dramatically, I think it's toned me up a lot. I'm noticing the weight I've lost now. It's like I don't have to make time to exercise as it's part of travelling to work.

From next week I'm intending to be riding to work on 4 days per week and then have one night for badminton. Saves money, saves petrol, reduces traffic and makes me fitter!

The bloke took me into his junk room the other day and pointed at his power supply and said "lift that". So I did, and it was heavy, I could feel all the extra pressure on my knees etc, and Moving with it was an effort. It weighs 22kg. I've lost that much weight. I was walking around with that thing hanging off me. No wonder hills were such a struggle and my knees and ankles were so sore.
