Hey Siana, sounds like you're doing really well. The weightloss is fantastic but I think getting your mindset right and knowing you are going to do it is an even better and empowering feeling. I'd wish you luck for your next weigh in but it sounds like you're doing enough without needing any luck.

Once again...thanks for ur comments everybody....
I truly believe that if it wasnt for this forum i wouldnt be doing as well as i could.
Ive heard over and over that u need friends or some sort of support to help u with ur weightloss and this is it for me.
So for everybody that has supported me I say a big THANK YOU!!
And for the ppl i havent managed to get to in this forum...i am truly sorry but this place seems so big sometimes that i dont
get around to all the threads.
As for me this is the 4th week that i have been on the right track and feeling great i might add. Although i started at 99kgs....that was the result of some
heavy eating over a couple of months....which i gradually dropped and slowly got down to about 92kg (i didnt get onto this forum for awhile during this time)
then i fell pregnant and after the birth of my daughter i dropped down to 85kg....and i was determined to keep it there.....i maintained it for 6 months (give or take a kilo) and when my daughter was more settled (now 6 months old) i got into it....and now im going great.

Sorry for the spiel....i sort of wanted to see where ive come and share that with u guys.

You'll do great Siana - you don't expect overnight results, and that IS the secret.

Just plug along and one day you'll be cursing the big sizes in the stores 'cos your tiny body needs smaller ones.

You GO girl!

Hey Siana,

Sorry to hear you're not well. TTOM sucks!
Still, have a look at your ticker - you are doing so well. Definitely inspiring to a newbie like me!
Feel better soon. :D

Good luck for your weigh in.

TTOM truly does suck...

It's probably just water retention so you'll probably have a better result next week. :D

I have not been very good diet wise the past week.
I think a combination of things have gotten to me and i caved.
I got a little stressed and turned to food....mind you not as much as i would have in the past but enough to hinder my progress.
So tomorrow will not be a good result unfortunately...
any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated.....i need to learn to follow my own advice!

Maybe it won't be as bad as you think. A slip up is not the end of the world and its not like if you don't have a loss this week all the weight is gonna pile back on. One week is not going to make a difference to the end result. The end result being you in a happy healthy place. Just think about why you turned to food, and how you can react differently next time and focus on the week ahead. You can change what has happened but you can change what will happen. Your doing great and i'm so proud of you!

I agree with Tarz. The most important thing is to figure out why you turned to food and set out a strategy of how you could cope differently in future. I know that I usually respond to stress with chips and alcohol so I started listening to relaxation/meditation/hypnosis MP3s to program myself to be able to cope with stress better. Maybe something like that could work for you?

Anyway, there's no point in stressing about your weigh-in until it happens. You may surprise yourself! And if it does end up not-so-good then just look at it as a valuable long-term learning experience. If it helps you find new ways to deal with any problems in your attitude towards food then it will be a good thing in the long run!

Thanks Tarz, Rose and EWQ
I know why i did it....at the time i didnt realise that i was having a stress response to the situation...but now i realise it.
Today i discovered something about myself (other than every time i write "myself" on this forum i keep spelling it myslef first)
It is just as easy to keep myself (again!!) on track than off track.
I have stuck to it....with very little effort! Why do i let myself get down so easily!
Thank you for the support...this forum and the people who constantly send me messages really save me in moments like this.
Have a great night guys!! :D :D
