i used to have a membership with fernwood, i found it to be really good, not intimidating like some of the bigger gyms, and you dont have to worry about whether guys are staring at you in your tight gym pants hahaha. i only left them because the nearest gym was not close enough to home. i would go back with them in a heartbeat if there was one nearby! the ladies there are always really helpful and it's not always packed out either! smart move!

thaaaaaaaaaanks :) i just tried on some old clothes (and that is why i now have hayfever) and a heap of them are fitting way better!!! I will be working out x2 tonight and then tomorrow as well, and Monday I want to have a walk/jog on the beach :)

I cannot wait to get into the 70s! and then I have to reach 75kgs which is the 2nd goal. And then 70! and maybe 65 :p

Goal 1: Reach the 70s
Goal 2: Reach 75kgs
Goal 3: Reach 70kgs (try on wedding dress)
Goal 4: Reach the 60s
Goal 5: Reach 65kgs

I am pumped!

p.s I did lots of walking at the shops and bought a christmas dress :) it looks rather nice, and I found a size 12 top that fit :) YAY I think I am beginning to get there.

haha yeah that's how i am feeling about measuring myself. sometimes that amount of feasting over xmas doesn't make as much of a difference as you would think, but sometimes it does - and personally i like to expect the worst in those cases so that it's a bonus if the results are better than i'd hoped :) haha

don't let it get you down though, just jump back on the wagon!

hahah i've been told that too. i used to be really negative until i met my current BF last year - he's the most positive person i've ever met - and now sometimes even i am more positive than him! still, sometimes i find it's better to expect the worst than to expect the best and be disappointed - not all the time, but in cases like this i think it's ok :)

Good on you, Rachel!

I agree that it's really hard to lose weight over Christmas. And the heat doesn't help at all either! 2008 is going to be great for all of us, I'm sure of it! Imagine how much easier it's going to be to lose weight once all this Xmas/NYE temptation is out of the way! :D
