i finally did some planned excercise today, 30 min walk and while i was watching extreme make over during the ads i did some excercise so it equated to 30 squats, 30 dips, 30 star jumps and 40 of these weird laying on my back looking like i am sort of riding a bike thingy, i dont even know if they are excersises but they was some ab burning and leg burning.. so i guess thats good.

Great work Jo! I love those lying-down-bike-ridie-exercise things but I have no idea what they're called either! So long as they work I guess it doesn't matter though.

I've found a way to do at least some exercise in the heat. If you don't have air-conditioning (like poor little me) dress lightly and jump under the shower to wet your clothes. Put the fan on so it blows on your during your workout to cool you down. Do the exercise of your choice in front of your favourite TV show (I did this last night using my elliptical trainer while watching Jamie Oliver). Every ad break drink as much water as you need and jump back under the shower to get cool again. I managed to do this for nearly an hour, totaling 35 minutes on the trainer not counting the ad breaks and it would have easily been in the high 30s in my flat at the time. While it certainly wasn't as nice as exercising while it's cool, it makes it tolerable.

today i went shopping at dfo with a friend of mine and we went into jeans west i think... maybe westco one of those places and i found this dress that i lovedddddd but it only came in a size 12.. much to my dismay. she insisted i try it on anyway and you know what?

IT FIT! it really fit... not just i squeezed into and sucked in my breath to pull the zip up... i came up easily and sat really nice...

i still cant believe it!

I hate back injuries. They make exercise (and standing, sitting and pretty much everything) really difficult. Have you pulled a muscle or is it something more serious? I hope you get better quickly.

It's great that you're fitting into a size 12! That's a real achievement. You'll have to buy a few size 12 dresses to celebrate and reward yourself!

I hope you regain your motivation soon. I know how hard it is to stick to a diet and exercise routine if you're feeling totally blah about it. Just think of the end goal and how great you'll look when you get to your target weight! You can do it!
