I know how you feel, I came to the realisation mine had to go soon, they still look really good everywhere else but the roots at the top are starting to look messy, so Im wearing a headband for the next week so I can get a bit longer out of them and then there coming out.

I swear it takes the same amount of time to take them out as it takes for them to put them in. How big was your afro afterwards

hey everyone! how are ya? sorry Ive been a bit distant from the group the past couple of weeks, Its been really busy round here with school holidays and because of it ive been really slack with myself. I havnt done any excercise the whole school holidays so I really need to get my butt back into it.

Ive got 8-10 more kilos till my goal weight so i think its time to start on my next phase of the journey which is, Toning! so from now onwards im gonna do less cardio and spend more time doing strength training, ab work and weights.
Tomorrow morning im going to take new measurements and get an accurate weight and then crunch my way tight lol.

Im hoping I will really see some good results If I put in the hard work.

Good luck with the toning, Nikki! The best thing is that a change of exercise often results in greater weight loss while your body gets used to it so you may find it helps with both toning and the scales. Let us know how you go!

Hi Niki, Good luck with the toning, i enjoy that part of my work out, i do cardio everyday and then every second day i spend an extra 20 minutes on the machines toning and you will notice a difference pretty quickly. Arms don't wobble as much and even though weight doesn't move to much shape changes alot. I'm sure your last 8kg will go so quickly.

Well thankyou so much for the encouragment because I really need it right now. I have been so slack, since my last post I have excercised about 7 times which is not very good and Ive been seriously lacking motivation. But thats all about to change because I have big news!! After 8 years and 3 gorgeous kids together my partner and I have decided its time to tie the knot, so next may were gettting married and Im so exxcited! So now my mission is skinny bride and the sooner I loose my 8 kilos the quicker I can shop for a wedding dress so the jobs on!
