Sharon's Progress

Postby shaz73 » Mon Feb 04, 2008 9:32 am

Hi all

I'm excited to report that since I restarted my diet on 29-1-08

My starting weight was 104kg
I weighed yesterday 3-2-08 102kg

I've lost 2 kilo's WOO HOO!!!!

I was very surprised by that because I'd been unable to do any exercise. I have a very demanding 9 week old baby & 2 children in school (one just started Prep - kindergarten in other states). I actually didn't think I would've lost any weight so that's why I'm so ecstatic. And, yes, I've been eating! My calorie goal is 1997.

You've probably done heaps of exercise just running around after your three little ones :D . Well done on the 2kg loss, Sharon. That's terrific!

Good luck with your weight loss. You're off to a terrific restart!

No, I don't have a reward planned. What do you suggest as a reward that's inexpensive, or better yet, doesn't cost anything?

3kg in 2 weeks is a great loss, Sharon! We'll have to put our thinking caps on to come up with some cheap or free rewards. What about buying yourself something nice on Ebay? You can find some real bargains there. It's where I get almost all my exercise gear! Or buy yourself a nice scented oil from the Body Shop. Maybe even some scented candles from a gift shop.

As for a reward that costs nothing, maybe a nice afternoon off while a friend or relative looks after the kids? You could watch a DVD, have a nice long bath, read a good book or have a lovely long nap.

Whatever you decide as a reward you'll certainly have earned it. Good luck with your weight loss. You're going brilliantly so far!

Great work sharon you will be in double digits soon! As for a reward what about a massage from your partner. I bought some inexpensive mud masks from avon and give myself a mask once a week and shave my legs as a treat.

A massage from hubby would be fantastic, however... I usually don't get a massage without any strings attached!!! But, yeah, I need a massage. I'll go with that.
