Hey Carlos, don't get too upset about not reaching your mini-goal. You were only 300g off it and really that's just a big pee  You can make 110 by end of April!

As for the ultra-slim, I've heard of it... as you said it's a meal replacement. Very similar to a lot of other meal replacements out there on the market. I think they're good as a short-term weight loss solution, but ultimately you need to change your entire diet & lifestyle in order to lose weight and keep it off. If you drink meal replacements but don't make changes to your diet, once you've lost the weight, you will go back to eating the same foods you ate before and put the weight back on. So personally I don't agree with the meal replacements, but each to their own. If you find they're working for you and you need a good kick start then go for it.

On a side note about the meal replacements too... I think there are varying degrees as to what kind of nutrients, protein, carbs etc are in the replacements. I'm not really sure what's in ultra-slim and how it compares, but if you want to keep taking meal replacements, there may be better options out there. I belive the opti-fast range is good?
Cheers,
Kate

It's important to eat regularly. Not eating from breakfast - dinner is unhealthy. It increases the risk of overeating late at night dramatically.

However, what works for one person may not work for another.

I hope you reach your goal for the end of April!!!

Didn't get it!

It's the 4th now and I'm 115.3

If I can get to 110 by the end of april... I'm going to be an extremely happy fella!

I only lost 3 kilos since this post but that ain't bad, considering I haven't been doing much exercize.. just been eating right.

112.2 now.

Which means I've lost almost 18 kilos.

yay for me :D

you seem to be going well Carlos.. you have all the right people giving you support and advise.. if you need any particular advise don't hesitate to ask and just read others threads and see what works for you.. most importantly just believe in yourself because no one else is going to do this for you.. you are young and I wish I'd got off my butt and done something about it years ago so in that respect I envy you.. seriously this time last year l wasn't far off what you are and the majority of my weight was lost in 4/5 months or so.. so by Christmas you could be down to lower 80's easy.. just gotta get your head round it mate.. good luck.. 8)

Thanks mate, I could use some help from you, seeing as you lost a lot weight yourself.

Could you please tell me some of the foods you ate and what excersizes you did and things like that?

Thanks.

107.9 as of saturday morning.

Exercising more and eating as well as I ever have right now..

I've ditched taking the car to work and have opted to walk 20 minutes to the train station in the morning... then about 10 minute walk to work from the station.. then all the heavy lifting at work, etc... and walking back home from the station again at night. And that's added onto my usual jogging, pushups (can do 40 now without stopping btw!!.worked my way up from about 10 lol), boxing, basketball, etc. I'm really going to push it this month because I've set a goal to be <100kg by the start of August.. and i'm pretty confident that I'll do it.

...

Haven't had McDonalds, kfc, fish and chips or anything like that since February (not missing them either).. haven't had a bag of lollies since I joined this forum (used to be addicted to lollies)... resisting temptations with extreme ease also..

For breakfast I've usually been eating some porridge with skim milk (no sugar or anything.. it tastes fine on its own) or a couple of vita brits in milk. lunch... if i'm at home I'll probably just eat some bran and sesame saladas and some olives or something with fruit afterwards... when at work I have a turkey 6 inch subway or sometimes nandos with a breast fillet and some corn.. and dinner......... I'm now ADDICTED to sushi hand rolls! I had some at sushi sushi one time and loved it... now i've learnt how to make them on my own and they are even nicer than the sushi sushi ones! they are healthy too so that's a plus.

Thanks for the help so far everyone.

You're smashing it Carlos and reached your goal for the end of May so no doubt you're well on your way to August goal :D

Good on you for ditching the car. All that incidental exercise really adds up and doesn't add that much extra time to your day. Keep it up :)
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

104.9 as of yesterday morning.

Should be under 100 by the end of July unless something drastic happens.
