do 'To-do' list work 4 you? if so add 2 pieces of fruit to the list & tick off daily you'll feel like you've accomplished a small goal.

Sometimes to do lists help for me... depending on how big they are! I'll try that though strawberry, thanks :)

urgh... I'm not having such a hot day - I haven't eaten particularly badly in the last few days, pretty good but still mostly over my calorie limit... My sleeping pattern is getting weird again... I'm going to sleep really early at night and waking up early in the morning. It's making me more tired than when I didn't sleep at all at night.

I'm also feeling really fat and ugly... I went clothes shopping yesterday and I usually feel gross whenever I do. But I needed pants. Now I have pants, but I hate wearing pants because they make me feel disgusting as well... I hate having them push against my stomach when I sit down and having that roll over the top... and if I drop them down around my hips I get that giant crotch thing going on. I wish hipster pants were still in... I love those! They were perfect.

Yay!

So last week wasn't such a fantastic week, but I made a vow to myself that this week was going to be better. And judging by how yesterday went, it definitely is going to be a LOT better!! Yesterday I went to my new home gym (I moved back in with hubby, so I had to change), and signed all the paper work and did a little bit of a workout (just like 15 minutes walking - I had no idea about their weight machines and my calf muscle was acting up a bit). I am so psyched! They have a pool and more classes than my other gym! Calorieking tells me that half an hour of slow swimming works off over 400 calories so guess what I'm going to be doing EVERY DAY NOW??? YAY! I love swimming if you couldn't tell :p

Anyway, so yesterday I stayed well below my calorie count (ate about 1500 calories yesterday) and I think today will be the same because I've planned out todays meals already. I'm also going to be going to the gym for 2 hours - 1 hour for my own workout (including half an hour in the pool!) and then I have my initial consultation to help me figure out my cardio stuff, and then weights are tomorrow. I've also gotten my sleeping pattern back into a routine where I now wake up at abotu 5 - 5.30 in the morning and my gym opens at 6, so Monday - Friday I'm gonna wake up, go straight to the gym for a walk, swim and weights routine. Except for some Tuesdays where I will go to spin class. Saturdays I will go to either an aqua-robics class or a 'body balance' (yoga, tai chi, pilates mixed into one) class and Sundays I will take a day off. Then I will come home and study from 8 - 4ish. I'm so psyched that I have a routine figured out now!!! I never thought I'd be this happy to be a member of a gym... Oh! And get this right... my old gym buggered up when doing my transfer papers and wrote down that I had paid for 11 personal training sessions (when I haven't) and my new gym is like "Well, we have to give them to you if they've been written down, even though you've told us that you haven't paid for them." - So basically - I get 11 sessions with a personal trainer for free. FREE. The Gods are smiling on me I swear... OMG! AND my gym membership price has gone down from 55 a fortnight to 35 because my new gym charges less base price and because of the whole personal training thing...

Yesterday I packed away all my 'skinny' clothes (size 16), so that a) I can have more room in my closet and b) when I lose weight I can go into the bag and pull out a whole new wardrobe of clothes that I love :p

I don't know what my weight is yet because I'm only weighing myself every 2 weeks, so lets see what Saturdays weight is shall we :) I'd love to be under 120kg, but I'd be happy with about 121 - 122kg just because last week was so incredibly bad :p

Strawberry - yeah it does make you feel uncomfortable... it sucks hardcore IMHO. Big people already feel uncomfortable enough without having uncomfortable clothing as well!

The smoking thing is going ok. I'm smoking 1 - 4 cigarettes a day (gone down from half a pack), and hopefully soon I can cut that down to none.

OH! And I also forgot to add...

I'm going to TAFE next year to do a dual diploma (Diploma of Hospitality Management/Diploma of Event Management) on campus. I thought that by doing that I either have to drop out of uni altogether with nothing to show for it, or do one subject a semester over the next two years and then do one more semester full time in order to get my Bachelors degree... well anyway, turns out that if I do 4 core courses, 4 courses in a particular subject area (in my case, tourism) and 4 electives I can graduate with an Advanced Diploma in Business (Tourism) - so next year in semesters 1 and 2 I have to do 1 subject in each for uni (while also doing TAFE) and then I can graduate from uni. Yay! Just means that I'm gonna have to work really hard, but that's ok - at least I'll have something to show for my efforts (LOL!) and I think it'd be pretty impressive to say "I have 2 diplomas and an advanced diploma that I gained all in three years". Especially when each one individually is 1.5 years.

ugh... not having such a good day today.

When you join Fernwood, they ask you to have a meeting with a nutritionist who has a look at what you've eaten over the last 3 days and it was freaking me out yesterday. When I went in to speak to her she said that Monday was good (over 700 calories under my 2100 calories), but Tuesday and Wednesday weren't so good (I was between 100 - 300 calories under on those days). She didn't say it mean or anything but it made me really upset (I didn't tell her), and today I'm kinda depressed and I'm just eating and eating and eating... I thought I was doing really well. I think any day is good when I'm anything under (even by a calorie), so today I'm feeling kinda low. Hubby tried to make me feel better by telling me that I was indeed doing well and stuff and I know that but it doesn't make me feel any better.

Today is one of those days where I just want to whine about my life and everything that's getting me down, but I don't wanna do it to you guys... I seem to complain a lot on here. I'll let you know how tomorrow goes.

Thursday and Friday were really bad... Thursday I went about 1500 calories over, and Friday I just ate a bit too much bad stuff at dinner (had chinese dumplings), was only about 200 calories over though...

I'm not going to weigh myself this week either because my stomach has been hurting and it's bloated and yuck, so I'm gonna wait another week. I think it's good that I don't weigh myself for a few weeks (even though it's only because I'm afraid to weigh myself). So I'm just gonna write down my achievements from this week:

- Went to the gym twice.
- Monday - Wednesday eating wise were very good.
- Made healthy choices while shopping.

I'm back...

I gave up there for a bit, but last night I looked in the mirror and I noticed that I had these little rolls of fat over my elbows and I freaked out and started to cry. I don't want to be this way any more. I can't be this way. I feel uncomfortable about myself and I'm ready to do it this time. I haven't been to the gym since the last time I posted.

I'm currently on about 125kg, so I've put on a little bit of weight - BUT this time, I've got a plan.

I'm going back on Optislim. I've been scouring other forums full of ladies who have stuck to it for at least the first 12 weeks, and they've had massive success, and then some have gone on to the 'transition' faze, where they slowly wean themselves off the shakes and have managed to continue losing weight down to their goal and have maintained it. So here I am, ready to give it a try for as long as it takes.

I started today, and so far have had one shake. I got really hungry after about an hour and a half so I had some green tea and a huge glass of water and no longer feel hungry. Weigh in's are now on Sunday, and this week I'm hoping to at least get back to 123.5kg.

Most of the women that I read about have lost about 20 - 30kgs in the first 12 weeks depending on their initial weight and how much and often they exercise. So I'm going to try to go to the gym or at least get out and about every day for at least half an hour. Hubby and I are going for a walk this evening for an hour. Funnily enough, he's trying to lose weight again now because he's at about 110kg and he's kinda freaking out because he spent 3 years getting down to 85kg from 120kg and he's maintained it for about a year or so until the last few months.

I know what everyone says about rapid weight loss - it doesn't work in the long run etc - but I figure as long as I get down to my goal weight then I will have more incentive to keep it off, and I will also feel better about going to the gym. I know more about maintenance now, and more about what is good to eat and what is bad.

Hubby is helping by making everyone in the house stop buying juice, soft drinks, chocolates and chips. For the last two weeks I've been cooking for everyone else, but have been heating up frozen meals for myself so that I won't eat the crap that I cook for them. Even bought a microwave so that I have more of a selection :p

I would really like to be in the 80's for my 1 year wedding anniversary (4th of Feb) - Even if it's 89.9kg I'll be happy :p That's in about 20 - 21 weeks, so probably about 2kg a week. Hopefully next week (when I've done the shakes for a whole week) I will have a massive weight loss so there's not so much pressure to lose as much weight every week for that amount of weeks.

I'm feeling good about this!

Ok, well I started officially at 125.7kg, today (after 3 full days on the program) I am 123.2kg. Loss of 2.5kg :) 2.5kg that isn't coming back. Ever.

I know it's not officially a Week 1 weigh in, but my usual weigh in is on Sunday, soo... lets call this one my beginning weight? Next week I'd like to be 120kg or under. It'd be nice to get out of the 120's - I feel like I've been stuck here a while! Which is kinda true... 2 months :s
