Just a record so that a long time down the track I can look back on this and see the results.

I'm booked into a private Dietition for Friday week to check over my diet plan and see what else she has to say. I am looking forward to that hour consultation just to get some information and to reassure me that I'm going ok.
I'm not going to use weigh myself. I think from everything I have read that it can be too defeatingly depressing as many things can cause weight to stay the same or change only a little, but you could still be losing weight though you'll feel bad because the scales don't say so. So I'm using measurements at the moment only and my wife has taken measurements of my neck, chest, waist, upper arms, forearms, thighs and calves and the end of each month from now on will be the only time those measurements are retaken.
I started my diet on the 27th of April 2008.
18th May 2008 I had lost 5" from my waist line
31st May 2008 I have lost a further 2" which takes me to a total of 7" off my waist.
