Sounds like a very good plan :) If you stick to it i'm sure you'll beat the evil 70 mark and start losing again :)

Hey that sounds like a great plan- I'm formulating something similar for myself at the moment to get over the 70 hump. I wish I could say it was all psychological but I think it is actually a tough weight to get past, so I'll be here cheering you on! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

hi matchbox, 30 day shred is Jillian Michael's work out dvd - she's the trainer from the american biggest loser. the dvd has 3 levels you have to work through in 30 days. Jillian bases her workout on a 3-2-1 principle: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, 1 minute of abs. There is a short warm-up, three 3-2-1 circuits, and a short stretch at the end, making the video a little more than 20 minutes.

did workout 1 of 30 today - level one wasn't too bad, the only part i really felt pain in was the weights session. i can see me getting some shape & tone in my arms after i finish this. jillian was also really motivating, listen 2 her do her spill inspired me to keep going and finish this with a visible change in my body.

today's food intake:
(B) oats with sprinkle of honey, peach slices (S)50g slice fruit cake, green tea (L) 75g tuna with garden salad, 1 hard boiled egg (S)150g no fat yogurt (D) small serve lasagna, garden salad

my mother visited last night, she came with fruit cake 2 have with tea. i couldn't resist and had 2 50g slices. don't feel guilty about it. i'm trying 2 stop the backlash i give myself if i think i've slipped. My total calorie intake went up quite high to 1617 cals/34g fat but with net cals it was 1222 cals. i'm trying not to go over my total calorie intake.

You're doing well strawbs (still feels weird calling you a fruit  ), don't worry about the fruit cake, you still ended up with a nett of 1222, thats not bad at all.

Hows the Jillian Micheals DVD going? Sounds like an awesome workout

Hey strawbs

dude dont worry about the fruit cake, these things happen. As long as you keep on track and not let it turn into a habbit you'll be fine.

I have Jillian Michaels 'cardio kick-box' dvd its really cool. I like the sound of the one you have too! Your eating and stuff sounds great. Keep up the good work, make sure u drink heaps of water too :)

lol - i love strawberries, don't feel weird calling me a fruit :). that's true i did end up with a net cals - i guess i was more so worried about it not being digested & burned and turning into fat stores. got up nice & early today did the shred & took the pup 4 an extra long walk to help things along with digestion part lol.

Hi CC - yes i'm keeping track & there's no way i intend on making it a habit. mum brings something along to have with her tea as she knows i no longer stock sweet snacky food in my home. i'll have to tell her just 2 bring enough 4 her lol.

what's the kick-box one like? i like jillian's method's of encouragement i find it better than other aerobic instructor types. 30 day shred is great! she claims u can lose 20lbs (9kgs) i'm thinking that's possible if you've got a lot to lose i'll be happy & aiming 4 a 2kg loss.

i drink 2 green teas and usually have between 6-8 glasses of water a day (250ml). thanks ur doing great urself.
