Awww poor doggy
Yeah I think i've done excellent for the first week!
Yesterdays eating was ok..
Had my up and go for breakfast, jelly for morning tea, had my shake for lunch, my 4 fat blaster lollies.. we I got home I had a cheese sandwich because I was getting my tongue pierced and didn't think i could eat anything... and i was right lol. When I got back from getting my tongue pierced and did some shopping, it took me an hour to eat 2 ham sandwiches for dinner lol. I have to learn how to eat again. This shake diet is good timing though, i can still have breakfast and lunch pretty much ok.. and because they're cold shakes they help with the swelling :) Soft foods for me for a while though.. Jelly is good too.
The only thing that might mess up my diet is that i was told the BEST thing for the swelling is icey poles. I'm pretty sure they're not that good for you, but 3-4 a day should be ok since we're pretty much moving house for the next week. And if I can't eat that much at dinner time, it really shouldn't become a problem :)

My tongues all swollen and sore lol.. I'm a bit mad that my bf wouldn't come with me  He sat in the food court and ate mcdonalds while I went by myself to get it done. He wouldn't come hold my hand :( And no sympathy from him lol he says i did it to myself so :(

ice is just as good as icey poles, if you really want flavoured icecubes just use a bit of sugarfree cordial for the same thing.

* the first time i got mine done i had mcdonalds and the second i had a normal meal for tea, strange that some people have that much trouble with eating :o

I can eat... i've had mcdonalds and KFC lol (in very small quantities because it takes me sooo long to eat).. but it just ends up hurting so I'm going to stick to liquids for now. Up & go for breakfast, shake for lunch, soup for dinner. I want it to hurry up and heal if the swelling hasn't started to go down by friday i'll have to get it taken out because its going into my tongue :(
Eager to weigh myself tomorrow morning, i've been moving house all weekend and being only able to eat small quantities of normal food so :)

if its still that swollen i would either not go anywhere without ice in your mouth or b look into getting a longer bar which may help if the bar is too short. if its going into the tongue itself thats a really bad sign, from memory the first time it was about a week before the swelling fully subsided, hope this helps

yeah i'm giving it until friday (a week) and hopefully it'll be ok.
they said if you can see less than half the ball then get it taken out or a longer bar, but i can see just over half so we'll see how it goes

Have you done salt water rinses? my swelling was gone in under 48 hours. Your tongue is the fastest healing part of your body :)

Nah I haven't been doing salt water rinses, i've been using the yellow listerine.
Should I be doing both?
The swellings starting to go down a little, the bar isn't as tight on my tongue anymore, but it hasn't gone down much. Just enough so that the ball isn't going any further into my tongue.
I dunno how it happened but theres this thick line that goes all around the bottom ball that looks like the metalic surface has been worn away. At first i thought there was something stuck to it but theres not, its been worn away by my teeth maybe? but how does that happen, its under my tongue.

Disected maccas last night :( Eating is getting a little easier. Must stop this junkfood stuff, its hard because thats all BF wants to eat because we've moved house and don't have all our cooking utensils etc. Today I endevour to eat healthy.

Up & go for breakfast, shake for lunch, might get some chicken mince and cook it up with some risoni and onion and some herbs... that should be soft and its food i don't have to chew much :)

Hi guys :)

I've been awol for a bit... i've been moving house the last 2 weeks so flat out.
Eating hasn't been fantastic, i've been convenience eating instead of healthy eating. Back on my shakes as of today. Not too sure what I can do with dinners right now, we're pretty strapped for cash because of moving so we're using up whats in the freezer rather than buying food (so im limited with what i can have!) But i'll be doing my best :)
Atleast i've been getting lots of exercise!
Will probably weigh myself tomorrow morning.. I do expect a gain to be honest. But i'm right back on track now. It seems my firend at work has given up on shakes :( So i'm doing it by myself

I'm back :(
Weighing in at 115.5kg... its disgusting.. and my wakeup call has been i've gained back half of what I lost.
Back on it as of today, the 1st of December, first day of summer.
My plan is to eat well, exercise when I can but i'm not going to beat myself up about it, and get my 1.5L of water per day.

I'm back :( Unfortuately. Going to give the forums another go.. there was alot of politics going on when I left that I didn't want to deal with.. lets hope things have calmed down and we can all get back to losing weight :)

I'm back at 119.6kg :( Horrible I know! I was up to 120.3kg though.. a couple of days ago so i'm back to losing. I'm having a shake for breakfast, a shake or soup for lunch, and then a reasonable sized dinner! I'm not beating myself up if I don't stick to that though! Yesterday I had a ham toastie for breakfast, a tuna sandwich for lunch and a roast for dinner, but I was reasonably good with my eating so i still class that as a success

Lots of news to tell also!
I'm starting uni in a weeks time! Bachelor of Education (Primary).. via open universities australia! I did a pre-study course which ate up alot of my time which actually helped with my eating because i'm a boredom eater. Having something to do has really helped! So when I start that, I should have heaps to do and won't be boredom eating as much.

Also, sometime this year i'm moving back to perth with work! All my family is in perth so thats a good thing. BF is coming with me :)

We haven't organised any wedding yet.. we're still engaged but its just been too hectic for weddings.
