Don't be hard on yourself! You've just started and your body is still trying to figure out what the hell you are doing to it! When I first started my body rebelled and put 10kg extra on my to lose list!!! But I put my foot down and fixed that soon enough.
I haven't tried or even heard of that particular plan, but if you just keep eating sensibly and exercising then you will get there.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
